The Path to Norman
Tyrese Robinson was one of the early commitments for the 2017 class. Despite offers from schools including Miami, Kansas State, and Missouri, he committed almost a year before signing with the 2017 class.

Career so Far
Tyrese took a redshirt year in 2017. In 2018, Robinson saw action in six games in a backup role at guard.
The next year, Robinson stepped up big. He started in all 14 games, all but two at right guard. The two games in which Adrian Ealy was injured, Robinson was the man Coach Bedenbaugh trusted to play right tackle, despite no experience at the spot. The big Texas native had a good year, but wasnβt as consistent as he could have been, especially toward the end of the season.

Highlights
Watch the left side of the line β Marquis Hayes [54] and Erik Swenson [77].
Swenson knocks his man into Hayes' man, who then lays on top of and pins both while Hurts finds Rambo for the TD.
Tyrese Robinson [52] also pulls out and pancakes his assignment.#OUDNA | #BoomerSooner https://t.co/Md7tmRJAJi

2020 Season
OU returns a lot of experience on the offensive line. Both starting guards are back from last year (Marquis Hayes on the left and Robinson on the right), but guys like E.J. Ndoma-Ogar and Brey Walker will be pushing the pair hard. Coach B has proven his trust in Robinson and knows he can play him all over the line. Look for Robinson to hold onto his starting spot and continue improving this year.
