TFB has giving us so much good info these past months, whether it be practice or recruiting, that I think they deserve our trust. It’s all good. Plenty of recruits out there trying to get noticed that they can cover!
You know, this far into the offseason, I’m not too worried about a relative lack of info. TFB still manages a decent, insightful post per day about OU football, something that not even the Oklahoma newspapers manage.
Pay site’s will always get a sore butt over good free information but I don’t think they can complain to the point that all information has to cease on a free site. I’m more inclined to think that Stoops was getting nervous about too many details becoming public.
Must have missed something. Is this due to the other teams using this info? I must admit, as much as I loved the practice updates, having concerns on intel being used against us. Bracing for surprises in the fall.
I hate to be ‘that guy’ but I’m not really at liberty to share the details. I will say everyone shouldn’t just write them off entirely (practice notes that is) as though they’ll never be back, but for at least for now they had to stop.
While this is a great video of Jalen Saunders showing his amazing athleticism, I wish that it showed some of the many key blocks he made throughout his time at OU. I think is one of the few receivers I have ever seen that appeared to take as much pride in blocking on the edge or downfield as he did running routes and catching passes.
Would have loved to had Saunders for a full term, guy will go down as one of the all time greats even doing short time. He was one hell of a receiver and maybe a better punt returner. He will be missed no doubt.
You brainiacs better watch taking these extended time outs leaving us with nothing to do but yard work! Somebody gonna get angry LOL. 🙂
What struck me most about the highlight reel (beside the fact that Jalen was awesome) was the opposing teams and players he did it against. OSU, Alabama, Notre Dame, K State, TCU — not exactly directional U or a team from the Sunbelt. He was a game changer. Only hope someone like Quick can fill that void.
Totally. And as good as Knight was in the bowl game, Saunders had to make some outstanding plays to have the results we did. Otherwise we remember it as a game where Knight was decent but not quite good enough.

So does this mean the pay site guys got butthurt and threw a fit to get them to stop posting all the good stuff for free?

Are any free sites giving out practice report info? If so, which ones?
None that I’m aware of

sweet highlights. The first clip from K-State was Sterling Shepard. 🙂
