Visitors List | Baylor
– Charlie S
Here is the list of visitors for the Baylor game which we have confirmed to this point.
As I mentioned last week, this is turning out to be a sneaky good list of visitors and we expect to add a few additional names once we get confirmation.

Kenny McIntosh – RB – Fort Lauderdale (FL) – OU Offer
Jordan Battle – DB – Fort Lauderdale (FL) – OU Offer
Jalen Catalon – DB – Mansfield (TX) – OU Offer

Quick Hitter | 2020 DL Princely Umanmielen
– Charlie S
– As I originally mentioned on the Baylor visitors list post, sources had let us know that 2020 DE Princely Umanmielen would be unofficially visiting OU this weekend.
I have been able to connect with Princely and he has confirmed that he plans on being in Norman for the game.
Umanmielen (6’4″ 240 lbs.) is one of the top DE targets in the 2020 class for Coach Thibodeaux and getting him on campus this week is obviously a good thing for the Sooners
Princely also mentioned that this will be his first visit to Norman and he is looking forward to the experience.
We will bring you more following the visit.
Finishing 2019 Running Back Class | Breece & McIntosh
– Super K
Sooners are looking for a second running back in this class. This past weekend they hosted 2019 Iowa State running back commit, Breece Hall (Wichita, KS). Hall happens to teammates with Sooners DE commit, Marcus Hicks.
This is going to be an interesting situation. On film, Breece looks the part of an OU back. Big, fast, and can catch the ball. You don’t get to see a lot of physicality because he’s running behind what appears to be a pretty good offensive line.
Hall told me after his visit that he spoke with coach Boulware about an offer, “He said that they want to be patient and watch me play in person before they offer me”. I asked him when the Sooners are expected to come by and see him, “Either this Friday or next Friday”.
As you all know, the Sooners have Kenny McIntosh (University School, FL) coming in for an official visit this weekend. Kenny is someone the Sooners have been recruiting for quite some time so I suspect they will try to get a sense of where they are in that recruitment before putting out another offer. Obviously, if Oklahoma were to extend another running back offer, especially one to a local player, they’ll need to be in a position to take that commitment.
When it comes to offers, OU does things the right way.
McIntosh’s brother plays at the Miami and my sources on that side tell me their staff is confident. However, he’s coming to town with friends, Jaden Davis, and Jordan Battle. Davis has already told me he’s going to try to lock both of them in, this weekend.
So, the running back pictures should be much clearer after this upcoming weekend.
JUCO OT Finley Felix | Quick-Hitter
– Super K
As we previously noted, 2019 JUCO OT, Finley Felix (Coffeyville CC) will be in town this weekend.
I asked Felix if there is a chance he will pull the trigger this weekend to which he said, “not this weekend but this decision will be coming up very soon”.
He doesn’t have any OVs schedule in the near future due to game conflicts. So, my sense is OU is in the driver’s seat here and OU just needs to make sure he has a good visit.
Quick Update | Jalen Redmond
– Charlie S
*** We get repeated requests for information regarding freshman OLB/DE Jalen Redmond and how he is progressing in his recovery from his medical situation which he encountered in July.
*** Redmond had some issues with blood clots and was immediately shut down from all football-related activities until the doctors could diagnose and treat the issues.
*** Throughout the early course of the season, Coach Lincoln Riley has occasionally updated the media on how he is doing, and he has repeatedly said that the prognosis for a full recovery is coming along nicely.
*** Sources indicate that Redmond has progressed to the point where he has begun to take part in team workouts and attends practices
*** We have also heard that he has suited up in full pads recently but is in a non-contact situation
*** Checked in with James Hale and he let me know that his sources tell him that Jalen is “mostly running and doing his exercises”
*** James also noted that Lincoln Riley has said he will be ready to go for the spring.
Sooners Offer 2020 Linebacker Phillip Webb
– Charlie S
*** Earlier this week, the Sooners extended an offer to 2020 linebacker Phillip Webb out of Lanier high school in Buford, Georgia.
Very excited to receive an offer from Oklahoma‼️ pic.twitter.com/n36nAxG3uX
— Phillip Webb🕸 (@_PhillipWebb_) September 27, 2018
*** The 6’4″ 210 lb junior currently holds around 20 offers which include offers from Florida, Michigan State, and LSU among others.
*** I touched base with Phillip who let me know that it was Head Coach Lincoln Riley who offered him.
*** Webb said, “I talked to coach Riley and he said they liked my film and I’m a good fit at Oklahoma”.
*** The fact that it was Riley who extended the offer was not lost on Webb nor his Coach at Lanier as both agreed that receiving the offer from Riley himself was significant.
*** He mentioned that he would like to make it up to Norman for a game day visit as well.
*** I will have a full write up on Webb in the near future, but I must admit I also find it quite intriguing, for a number of reasons, that Riley extended the offer to a 2020 linebacker, but we can get into that another time.
