The Path to Norman

Hailing from Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Carson played tight end throughout much of his schooling. Schools including Washington State, Duke, and Wisconsin were all vying for Meier’s playing time, but he chose the in-state Oklahoma.

Career So Far

Meier has played fullback throughout his college career and has appeared in every game possible since his redshirt season. However, he hasn’t seen much action in a play-making role, as Dimitri Flowers has been around for Meier’s entire career.

2018 Season

With Dimitri Flowers gone, the fullback spot is more open than it has been in years. Carson Meier and Jeremiah Hall will both be vying for playing time in a role that has been very diverse in Coach Riley’s tenure running the offense. Both will get their shot to make an impact on the field.
