The 2017 OU football roster is set to be released via Facebook live Wednesday morning. It is being released a mere three days before the first game, later than usual. A new way of releasing the depth chart may bring Sooner fans to Facebook in droves.

When looking at this, it’s impossible to ignore the representation from SS17, the most recent recruiting class. Make no mistake, this is a statement to the talent that was brought in, the hard work that has been put in, and the level of competition in practice. The coaches are letting everyone know that youth is not an inhibitor to playing for the Sooners.
