I’m all for expanding one’s horizons, and I strongly agree that watching more football than just OU games and interacting with fans of a variety of teams is highly beneficial. With that said, the idea that one should actively cheer for more than a single football team is quite beyond my ability to understand. My relationship with every football team in America besides OU can really be broken down into how much I dislike them, from very little dislike at all ( for example: Kentucky – I grew up there and wish them well) to Texas (despise them on a molecular level).
