– Jaquayln Crawford: As you all know, Sooners WR target, Jaqualyn Crawford (Rockdale, TX) is set to announce his decision later today. We do not have a time for the commitment so you should skip work and keep refreshing his twitter and/or TFB all day! Your boss might not be happy but we think you’ll like the news. – (Super K)
– BBQ Visitors: The Sooners BBQ is less than two weeks away. Below is a list of visitors as of today. I’m sure there will be additional names that pop up.
2018
Ron Tatum: PCO (OKC) DL – OU commit
TJ Pledger: IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL) RB – OU commit – Pledger has re-solidified his commitment to OU but this visit should only serve to verse entrench him in OU’s 2018 class.
Jordan Kelley: Tulsa Union (Tulsa, OK) DL – OU commit
Patrick Fields: Tulsa Union (Tulsa, OK) DB – OU commit – Fields has been one of OU’s best recruiters. Having him at the BBQ helps.
Brey Walker: Westmoore (Moore, OK) OL – OU commit
Kundarrius Taylor: Ridgeway HS ( Memphis, TN) WR – OU Commit
Darrell Simpson: Northwest HS (Justin, TX) OL – OU offer – We still like where OU stands with Simpson. Simpson released his top eight earlier this month which included: OU, Ohio State, Ole Miss, TCU, TAMU, Arkansas, LSU and Oklahoma State. We hope to find out if Simpson has a commitment date set yet.
Tavion Thomas: Dunbar HS (Dayton, OH) RB – OU commit – This visit is likely but not yet confirmed. Should he make it, this will be Tavion’s first visit to OU.
Joshua Proctor: Owasso HS (Owasso,OK) DB – Ohio State commit – This visit is also likely but not yet confirmed. Proctor’s aren’t saying a ton these days and what they are saying is they are solid to Ohio State. But the Sooners have some quiet confidence behind the scenes that they’ve got a good shot at Proctor.
Jalen Redmond: Midwest City HS (Midwest City, OK) OLB/DE – OU offer
Jaqualyn Crawford: Rockdale HS ( Rockdale, TX) WR – OU offer – I suppose Crawford confirming he’s visiting OU for the BBQ is as good a sign as you’ll get.
– Jaiden Woodbey: In case you didn’t get a chance to listen to Brandon’s podcast, he did have Woodbey on. Unfortunately for the Sooners, Woodbey won’t be able to make it to the BBQ, but he still plans to officially visit the Sooners for the OU vs. TCU game.
It’s pretty clear Woodbey’s connection to Cooks and Riley as well as his friendship with TJ Pledger is a driving force behind his interest in Oklahoma. – (Super K & Brandon)
