The Sooners are one win away from the WCWS championship. Strong play through the WCWS has set them up well.

Their opponent, Oregon, has played their way back through the Elimination Bracket. They lost 3-1 to Washington (who OU beat 3-1 on Friday) in their first game of bracket play. Then yesterday, they beat Baylor (who OU beat 6-3 Thursday) and then LSU to move on to today’s game. If Oregon wins, OU will play again tonight at 8:30 in an elimination game.
On the other side of the bracket, Florida plays Washington immediately before the OU game in a similar situation. Whoever makes it out of that bracket will play the victor of OU’s bracket in a WCWS championship series starting Monday.
