Continuing Oklahoma’s tradition of bringing in wide receiver transfers, the Sooners have received a commitment from Jeff Badet. Badet is a grad transfer, eligible to play this year, who has played with Kentucky the past several years.

Badet will make an excellent addition to a deep group of receivers. He will also add a veteran presence to a group that, outside of a few guys, doesn’t have a wealth of experience.
At Kentucky, Badet posted seasons of 285 yards, 430 yards, and 670 yards. He was their leading receiver for the 2016 season. Here is a taste of what he can bring.
Virginia Tech, Oregon, WVU, and Troy were all in the mix for Badet’s decision. He visited Norman in early March, where Coach Lincoln Riley was kind enough to make this for him.
It seems to have worked. This is a great get for the Sooner offense in 2017.
