– Asa Martin: This weekend the Sooners will host one of the top rated running backs in the country in Asa Martin (Decatur, AL previously of IMG academy).

Martin says the Sooners have not yet offered but says it hopes one will happen this weekend. We will have more with Martin later. – (Super K)

– Ronnie Perkins: With some excellent in-state defensive line talent (Kelley, Tatum, etc.) along with excellent talent in the region at large, specifically in Missouri, the Sooners have a chance at landing an excellent defensive line class.

2018 Dallas area DT, Calvin Avery has already admitted to us that he strongly considered committing to OU just a couple weeks ago.

Ronnie Perkins (St. Louis, MO) is a guy to keep a close eye on. He’s a already a massive young man who shows the ability to use his hands and is explosive off the ball. With his size and athleticism he’s a perfect fit for a multiple front. He looks like a guy who will be comfortable playing multiple techniques.

Perkins is high on the Sooners and let us know yesterday that he plans on making the trip down to Norman for the April spring game.
