The Sooners have received a commitment from 2017 running back, Kennedy Brooks (Mansfield, TX).

Brooks is the second running back commit in this class. After the injury to Rodney Anderson it seemed more and more obvious that Oklahoma would need to take another RB in this class. That is especially the case given the possible departure of Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine.
