Lancaster (TX) defensive back Jordon Austin became the second member of Oklahoma’s 2018 class after he announced his commitment via Twitter.

Austin is the younger brother of current OU cornerback Dakota Austin, which of course played in the Sooners’ favor when it came to ultimately earning the younger Austin’s commitment.
As mentioned above, Austin joins Southmoore standout offensive tackle Brey Walker in OU’s current 2018 recruiting class.

Okie light gots some bad news today….Zachary Holifielidz — a 17-year-old pitcher from Plano High School (Texas) — is accused of sexually assaulting two children at his mother’s home day care, police told The Dallas Morning News. He was arrested June 20 in Collin County on $600,000 bail.

I am as well……….not many teams will trade away a younger player for an older one unless re-signing him was going to be a problem—which it may have been…Montreal may have decided it didn’t want to chance losing Subban to another club and get nothing in return —-hence the trade…..

Time to give up the pipe dream of Baron Browning. 3 interviews at the Opening, and not 1 mention of OU.

Got to say, Calcaterra is killing it and he’s a great guy. Guys, he’s a fit (pure Y TE) for Riley’s system and he’s 6[5 and about 220 now. Solid as a rock and Chris throws darts. Chris is 6’2 to 3′ and 195 and will easily put on 30 at OU. He’s rock solid on his throws with great footwork. BTW, he’s the fastest QB at a 4.6. I said Boomer to Grant and he came over and visited. Then Chris and Raegor came over and we visited for a bit.
The DB’s, LB’s are arriving today. WR/TE & QB have been there since Wednesday and it’s been a blast for us.
Several are standing out right now and I will update later. This two hour behind CST hurts as we finish out there and then eat and I’m in the room and it’s 8:30, here, 10:30 home. Bring more tomorrow.
Bottom Line: these kids I mentioned are not only good but their character is more impressive.

Will do. Ray, these aren’t quarter horses, they pure thoroughbred’s. Fun to watch. We were here last year but they seem to get faster and bigger every year. A lot of passion going on and the coaching is off the charts. Route running is a premium. They brought in some College QBs and one of them is Deshaun Watson. I have to say he makes throwing the ball look easy. He’s effortless, smooth. I could watch him all day and he’s a good guy. I know we love Bake and he’s good but Deshaun will be a top 3 pick next year.
FYI – NEGU is Never Ever Give UP.
