DOK had a write up of the tresspassing incident with Westbrook. The owner of the place was the one acting belligerent and crazy. Dede complied with the police fully and admitted that he was told to not come back because of an altercation the year before.

What the F…. whatever happened to cops just telling a kid to leave? Only thing Dede did wrong was not lawyering up once he got off the crazy ladies property.
I think the cops handled it in the right mannor. He was told not to ever come back the year before, so it is tresspasing. Class B misdemeanor is not a heavy charge at all.
Still could have simply asked the kid to leave. I guarantee you that I would not have been arrested for the same offense (middle aged white guy). It would be different were there some restraining order or any official legal document… just saying “I told him last year to never come back” should warrant no more than a verbal warning as long as he was willing to comply.
It is actual tresspassing if you tell someone to leave and never come back and they come anyways. You dont have to get anything documented. Simple as that.
I understand that… however speeding is actually breaking the law, MIP is breaking the law, PI is breaking the law, j-walking is breaking the law… all of which you “could” be arrested for but you usually won’t be. Him getting arrested for trespassing is BS “Simple as that”.
So MIP and PI are something that you dont usually get detained for? That must be new. Completely different things than walking across the street illegally and going 5 mph over. Don’t get bent out of shape. It’s common sense.
And he was only held in jail for a few hours.

Just Briles, so far. But the Baylorfail guy believes there will be more assistants gone by Fall camp.
In and of itself, not surprising. But if that tweet is true, and Baylor is trying to hoodwink recruits into signing under the pretense that assistant coaches will still be there… actually that won’t surprise me in the slightest now that I think about it. I was going to type something to the effect of “wow that’s terrible”, but after all we’ve seen from Baylor….. that pretty much fits.
This will only work for 2016 recruits. 2017 can’t “sign” until Feb, so who is still left for 2016 that is any good AND has no scruples about playing for such coaches?
I think they remain because no one else will work there.

Yep. They suck right along with Ole Mi$$. No one is questioning a program’s rise. Look at OSU. They did it by taking players who OU and Texas didn’t offer. Pretty soon they were able to challenge OU and Texas. Gundy appears to be doing it the right way. But for Baylor and Ole Mi$$ to have sudden rise, something smells.
You hit it Sam. I am not a Gundy fan and little-sister-U is not a place I think about, but Gundy has acquitted himself well in recruiting (his “dancing” and “I’m a man” rants are less than top-notch, but he compares very favorably to Kliffy, most of the SEC, and of course, the BU scum).

I’m with ya’ on their other shows – HBO has fallen behind. Black Sails on Starz, Penny Dreadful and Ray Donovan on Showtime. If you like “grit” without the “R” rating, BBC America has a good, period show – Ripper Street. One of the main characters is played by Jerome Flynn (Brom on GoT).
Have you ever watched “Peeky Blinders”? It’s a Netflix series about three brothers, all WWI vets, in Birmingham England. Set in the early 1920s and is about their dealings to bcome bigger fish in Organized crime in Britain. Pretty entertaining. Reminds me of a British version of Deadwood.

Misunderstanding? No there are things going on that affect the team and certain units. But like I said, if we were in camp, most of these things would iron themselves out.
Misunderstanding= Jawing each other, ie. talking about each others mama’s so on and so forth. Sounds like some competition issues perhaps, one thinking they should be in a spot someone else has?

Not surprised given the state of BU. AND it is a wise decision by the young man – both morally and from a football playing perspective. I would think A&M will fall all over themselves to get him to come there – might even work for him with a super-senior starter.

TRob seems to think Hines is OU’s to lose. IIRC, he said he’s good friends w/ Tyrese and several other ’17 commits.
I think it will come down to 3. I think it will be between OU and tOSU. It could hurt recruiting for LBs. That would be 2 5 stars at LB…..maybe 3 if Levi gets another star. Doesnt scream “come play early” to me.
