2016 defensive tackle, Chris Daniels (Euless, TX) has committed to Oklahoma. Despite being in just his first year as a defensive line coach at Oklahoma, Diron Reynolds is already proving he can bring in top targets. Daniels selected Oklahoma over schools all over the country like Michigan, Alabama and even held off a late push from Texas.

FWIW I have understood Bledsoe is a silent and the Southall is like 100% not a silent but neither a solid just waiting on his commit date and SD is just a troll!

It sounds like we’ll be able to play a lot of (or almost purely) aggressive man coverage with how good the defensive line will be for years to come now. That’ll be deadly in the big 12.

My twin brother graduated tonight as well, so I caught a glimpse of most of these guys as they walked. Tapper had nearly 3 ft on the old lady that was announcing names, lol.
Very proud these guys got their degrees. I will used to not care as much about these things when I was young, but now that I’m older, I’m every bit as excited about graduation rates as I am about winning games. I want both!

He’s been our most consistent and longest tenured assistant on staff I don’t see the correlation….
Coach Gundy’s track record is beyond question. But credit to his actual position coach is due as well and it’s his first recruit…and it’s a big one!

With regard to Ole Miss, I suspect we’ll get our answer in an ESPN 30 for 30 some day real soon. I think it’s SMU type stuff. They’re out-recruiting Alabama for god sake.

Glad we got Youngquist. Biggest surprise for me in recruiting so far.
Funny story…I was at UCLAs spring game a couple years back. And I was down on the field with a bunch of people and Jones Drew was there. Recruits were coming up to him and what not. And this one kid comes up with braces and some acne and puts his arm around Jones Drew and takes this picture with him with the biggest @#$% eating smile from ear to ear. The look on Jones Drews face was priceless. I turned to a buddy and said look at this kid and we started laughing. Lo and behold it was our very own B.Y. I’ll never forget that.

Darlington hasn’t! I can’t remember this much quality depth up front ever. Not just decent players or gap fillers either. Where talking war daddys that will disrupt the play from snap, keep our lb’s clean and control the Los not seen since Harris, Dusty, Cody, Jackson.

You’re right about pass rushers off the edge. Im really hoping Deberry is all that.

He went to Burleson High School, so I know a bit about him, but he’s just not as good as the dudes in front of him. I’m not quite sure what they saw in him, but if he helps the scout team I’m cool with that.

Well hell, we move from # 40 to #39 on Rivals list. Sooners recruiting at #34 on ESPN. Yahoo list #40. We can do better. It ain’t pretty that 3 conference teams are above OU.

They’re just ahead in numbers not quality. We’re not taking as many this year so we certainly wont crack the top 15 but just go by the quality number.

This is a good class. We finished ranked 14th after last year’s debacle. How good are the ranking experts any way? Baker was projected as a 3 star…and won Big 12 Freshman award and is really a 5 star player. RELAX.
All I’m suggesting is that you’re trusting recruiting services over our coaches. Who loses their job if they’re wrong?

Hey zippy, thanks, I can count to 10, hell all the way to 75 or so. .Clemson, Georgia, USC have 14 or less and are ranked higher. Miss. St. and Tenn at 15 and higher. It is more than numbers.
