We had a few readers recently email us about Seminole, OK RB Sefuan Bouttelier White AKA Papi White. Currently Papi doesn’t have any college offers but we absolutely wanted to shine a little light on this kid because he deserves one!
First, we want to thank the fellas that emailed us and brought him to our attention. As y’all know in our last “underrated” post we featured Patrick Choudja who had no BCS offers and since then has picked up offers from Colorado State, Hawaii and got his first BCS offer from Arizona State. We came across Patrick’s film because of suggestion by one of our twitter followers. And we’re glad we did.
We are hoping that the word will get out on Papi White as well. And while he may not necessarily be a BCS level running back we definitely believe he can play college football at the D1 level. And we’d love to see an Oklahoma HS kid get his first offer.
Papi has great vision and incredible change of direction. He’s not the biggest back (though he looks like he’s got plenty of room to carry weight) but he has great balance and can quickly get his momentum moving north and south after a lateral cut which makes him very difficult to bring down. He’s putting up ridiculous numbers. He’s already run for over 3000 yards this season! Papi just feels like a kid who can do everything. He may not have Finch’s lateral quickness or De’Chavon Hayes breakaway speed but he’s good at everything. He reminds us of a guy like Emmitt Smith who didn’t necessarily do one thing great but did everything you wanted and that is what made him great. And though most of us felt he could be a good mid-major back it wouldn’t surprise us if the kid ended up working his tail off in college (he’s a good kid and hard worker!) and playing on Sundays one day.
Here are our general feelings about what level we feel he can play:
Ryan Broyles: I could see this guy being a star at a mid-major D1 school and a no-brainer at a D2 school.
Super K: Definitely division 1 good. And if I were a BCS school rebuilding and looking for quality players I wouldn’t overlook him. But definitely at least D1 even if not BCS
JY: Good looking running back. The level of school he can play at hinges on how much weight he can put on. If he could put on 200+ lbs and keep his athleticism he might good enough to play somewhere in the Big 12. Otherwise he can play D1 mid-major.
Ace: I actually really like him as a 3rd down All-Purpose Back at a D1 non BCS school. Really good hands. I think his most impressive quality is his vision, very patient in the hole, the more you watch the more you appreciate him. Great agility and has D1 cuts as he effortlessly shifts directions. Coaches will question the quality of competition but he will get a D1 offer sooner or later, especially if he gets his track times out.
Thank you again to our readers who brought Papi to our attention. We believe this young man deserves a scholarship offer and we hope he gets one! We’ll keep y’all updated.

Really like this kid! I’ve seen some of the RB commits that some of the local mid-majors have signed and Papi is better.
I can’t remember if I read it here or somewhere else, but didn’t his coach say he’s the best player he’s had in 40 years of coaching? Anyway it’s funny how kids like this go unnoticed by other recruiting sites as well as football programs. There is a reason why mid major programs produce NFL players, there are just a lot of misses out there.
I don’t know the legitimacy to this, but a lot of stuff I have read on him says he has barely played past the 2nd qtr in most games because Seminole was so far ahead!
We can ask Coach Snyder to confirm 🙂
That’s a fact. My grandson is on the team so I know firsthand. Been to every game this year and Papi rarely played in the second half of games, sometimes even not much into second quarters, and yet still put up those numbers! Had he played more he could have easily topped 5,000 yards. I also read that he leads the state in interceptions with 16. He does it both sides of the ball! I really fail to see why he hasn’t had many offers by now, someone is missing out on a great player!
Thanks for chiming in Ron. We’re hearing that Western Kentucky might have offered today!
I had to play against Papi all through junior high. He’s gained quite a bit of weight since then, but he was impossible to bring down. He’s so quick and elusive it’s scary.
J…thanks for posting that! Really appreciate you commenting on the site and offering a first-hand experience bro!
Hey Special K with Joe Mixon having Oklahoma in his top 4 and not USC does that mean that our position is any better?
Hey Isaac! Go ahead and check the update that we added this afternoon to the Joe Mixon post from yesterday and that’ll give you our take on things. Thanks!
he has over 1100 yards in the playoff’s so far. Heard he is a grade risk.
He’s not a grade risk. He has really solid gpa
thanks, that source is out.
OHIO BOBCATS WANT PAPI CHULO
Southern Miss is showing him a good time haha.
Yeah but he’d be the show in Ohio..look at Southern Miss already 2 rb commits and a 3 underclassmen rb’s already on the roster. He cant wanna sit for 3 years.
