We wanted to wish you and your families a very Happy Thanksgiving!

We started this website last month (October) and we’ve received an incredible response. We didn’t expect to have as many visitors as we’ve had and we didn’t expect to receive so many kind emails. But we certainly appreciate them. We appreciate the fact that you take time out of your busy days and sift through all the things on the internet to visit us. We hope to continue bringing you news and insight for the remainder of the year and we hope you’ll stay with us in the offseason as we will continue bring you fun and interesting content as well as insights from behind the scenes that you won’t find anywhere else. We have some big plans for this site and some fun things that we want to add for you all in the coming year.

We have received numerous emails from people asking us if we plan on making our site a subscription based website at some point. We’ve even had people tell us that that if we ever went to a subscription site they’d gladly pay. And while we appreciate that generous offer we have absolutely NO plans on ever charging our readers. We want our site to be free to our readers now…and forever! We are just happy you’re willing to stop by!

Also, we wanted to take time to briefly address some of the “drama” that ensued earlier this week with the removal of a player we all enjoyed watching on Saturday and some of the post-removal comments. We had a number of you write to us and ask if there were some deep rooted issues within the program. And we want to say absolutely, unequivocally and in no uncertain terms, there are NO deep seated issues within the program. In fact, in our estimation, the program is healthier than it has been in a while. There is incredible camaraderie and blossoming leadership on this team. It is natural anytime a lot of people are working together and there are people or players coming in and out of a program and there are high stakes and sometimes conflicting interests to have some flare ups every so often. Not everyone sees eye to eye all the time and it happens within every organization, every business and every sports program. Even the few people that may have had some unpleasant experiences, in the end, still can’t shake their love and devotion for the university…our university. Kinship is not shattered by a dispute. It may temporarily cause a breach but the good memories overcome and maturity on all sides allows people to see clearly the great mutual benefit, respect and assistance that existed. We are all emotional but we are all family. For better or worse, we are a family. And families stick together even after a fight.

So when we say Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. What we really mean is Happy Thanksgiving to you…our family. God bless and Boomer Sooner y’all!
