The Path to Norman
Harris committed to Oklahoma in May 2025 after previously being a Maryland commit. The defensive tackle earned defensive line MVP honors at the 2025 Under Armour Next camp in Orlando. He chose the Sooners over Alabama, Michigan, Penn State, and many more, and noted that Coach Bates and Coach Venables were a big factor.

This Season
The defensive tackle room will be headlined by stars David Stone and Jayden Jackson, with several others working to make the two-deep. Harris had the chance to enroll in January, giving him a full offseason under his belt; he’ll provide depth this fall and adjust to college ball.
