The Path to Norman
The Sooners added Noah Best out of the Texas high school ranks. Best was an OL in the 2026 class. He received his OU offer in the summer of 2024 and ended up with an offer sheet including Texas, LSU, Michigan, and more. However, Coach Bedenbaugh stayed on the trail and landed the big man almost a year after his offer.

Best had a solid spring working at center and may have landed himself on the two-deep behind Jake Maikkula. Without a redshirt rule in place, Best may get some run this fall in hopes of taking over the spot in 2027.
