Boom News! | ’27 ATH Greydon Howell Commits to Oklahoma!
Posted on: March 8, 2026
The Oklahoma Sooners added another piece to their 2027 recruiting class with the commitment of in-state athlete Greydon Howell (5’11 170) out of Broken Bow, who projects to play wide receiver in Norman.
Howell is a dynamic playmaker who caught the attention of the Sooners staff early thanks to his speed, explosiveness, and ability to make plays in space. While he has lined up at multiple spots in high school, Oklahoma made it clear they see his future on the offensive side of the ball at receiver.
That vision, combined with the Sooners’ offensive system under Ben Arbuckle, helped Oklahoma separate itself during the recruiting process. The staff believes Howell’s athleticism and ability after the catch give him significant upside as he continues to develop.
For Oklahoma, Howell represents another strong early addition to the 2027 class as the Sooners continue building momentum on the recruiting trail.
