The Path to Norman
Courtland Guillory was a corner out of Texas in the 2025 OU recruiting class. The Sooners were part of a flurry of offers Guillory received in early 2024; he visited Norman multiple times in the following months. In a matchup against the Longhorns, Oklahoma won out for Guillory’s commitment.
Highlights
This Season
It would have seemed likely that Guillory would ease into college and take a redshirt season. However, a mixture of offseason injuries and Guillory making the most of his opportunities led to him being one of the most frequently-praised players over the offseason. He was constantly mentioned as one of the standout corners and he’s now listed as a starter at corner for game one. In his first season with the Sooners, Guillory looks set to be a big time contributor.
