The Path to Norman
Casen Calmus is the son of Oklahoma legendary linebacker Rocky Calmus. Rocky played for OU from 1999-2001; he helped the Sooners win a National Championship in 2000, was a two-time consensus All-American, and won the Butkus Award in 2001. Casen attended high school in Tennessee, but still made several visits to Norman. When Coach Venables offered a preferred walk-on spot, the younger Calmus decided to play for OU.
