The Path to Norman
David Rowaiye played high school football in Oklahoma City, at Southeast. He was a member of the 2022 class and signed with New Mexico. After two seasons with the Lobos, he transferred to Oklahoma prior to the 2024 season.
Career so Far
Rowaiye took a redshirt in 2022 and did not play in his two years at New Mexico. In 2024, his first season with OU, he saw no playing time.
This Season
Rowaiye now has a full season with the Sooners. He’ll be working on the interior defensive line, where Jayden Jackson, David Stone, Damonic Williams, and Gracen Halton will be the leaders. Rowaiye will provide depth at the spot in 2025.
