The Path to Norman
Daniel Afalava comes to Norman out of Utah. The offensive lineman was a member of the 2025 OU recruiting class with offers from Oregon, Michigan, USC, Texas A&M, and many more. Afalava’s tape showed a massive lineman with a lot of strength, great for a Coach Bedenbaugh offensive line. The Sooners were a relatively late offer from Afalava, but got him on campus quickly and received his commitment in short order.
Highlights
This Season
Afalava had off-season knee surgery and was out of spring practice. He will likely redshirt this season as he rehabs and acclimates to the college game, but will look forward to being a factor in 2026.
