The Path to Norman
Andy Bass played high school football just north of Norman at Heritage Hall. The talented athlete played a bit of everything in high school, including a lot of quarterback. Bass’ top three included OU, KSU, and Syracuse; the Sooners won the commitment in the fall of 2023 by adding Bass as a PWO.
Bass suffered a torn ACL in the state championship during his senior season, but still earned the 2023-2024 Gatorade Oklahoma Football Player of the Year.

Bass is listed at running back for now, but has the skillset to play all over. He will spend 2024 working to get healthy and finding his spot for 2025 and beyond.
