The Sooners pick up a commitment from ’25 WR Marcus Harris.
Talk about things escalating quickly!
Harris, 6′ 185, holds dozens of offers from around the country. OU offered last summer and Harris has taken visits (unofficial and official) to Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, UCLA and others.
Last week, Harris changed his visit schedule to get to Norman as he was originally supposed to be heading to Oregon after officially visiting Georgia and UCLA.
He is an explosive prosect who has the ability to beat you with his seed as well as his wiggle. He shows good hands and very good route running ability.
Emmett Jones wasted no time in getting him on campus and closing the door. As we noted yesterday, sources indicated that OU made a really stong move and apparently, it was strong enough to entice Harris to lock it u and commit to the Sooners.
Really nice addition to the wide receiver class which also includes Elijah Thomas and Gracen Harris. We do not believe OU is done at wide receiver either at this time.
