Upon Further Review…

—Thought it was a crap call on the pass interference on Sylvie on the 4th down play.  He barely touched the guy.

—Don’t like that the defense gave up 31 today.  Was hoping to see it stick at 10.  I guess it’s tough for defenders to stay engaged up 45-10 at half.

—Speaking of crap calls.  I thought the one getting the ejection on Samia was one.  Maybe a penalty but not an ejection.

—The offense didn’t punt until the 4th quarter.  Crazy how prolific the offense was today.

—I was nervous going into it.  I was concerned that the guys may come out flat.

—1st play from scrimmage and Kyler takes off for a 66 yd run.  Man that guy can flat out fly and it gives a huge dimension to the offense.

—Anderson had another 4 TD day.  Runs of 1, 4, 13 & 17.  He finished with 118 yards on 13 carries. Murray, 3 for 80.  Adams 8 for 62 & Sermon 6 for 50.  The run game overall finished with 35 carries for 313 yards at 8.9 a pop.

—Meanwhile, we have a Heisman Trophy candidate.  14/17 for 281 and 3 TD’s.  Just another day at the office for em.

—I thought the 2nd team defense looked better than the starters.  They seemed to close down gaps, and man Jon Michael Terry is a physical linebacker.  Wouldn’t mind seeing him get more reps over Beal.

—Our linebackers got worked today.  Thought the D line didn’t play bad, but the linebackers just got swallowed up.  That has to improve.

—3 games left (hopefully).  Big XII CCG, National Semifinal & National Championship Games.  I get excited just typing it.

—Game ball to the offensive line.  Zero Sacks and a dominant run game.

—Alabama lost to Auburn, and LSU is up 13-0 as I type.  It’ll be interesting to see how many defections occur from the Aggies if it holds up and Sumlin is indeed out.

—It’ll be very interesting to see if the Sooners move up.  Alabama and Miami both lost.  Clemson’s defense is very stout, but like our defense, their offense isn’t very dominant.

—I don’t really care as long as we keep winning.  You have to play em all anyway.

—Need a good week of preparation and can’t overlook TCU.  They’re going to be flat ready to play Saturday.
