Someone that knows the Smallwoods and Ross said “A&M is offering him a lot of stuff that Stoops wont” SEC recruiting at it’s best…..
He should report it then…accepting illegal benefits is morally wrong even if others are benefiting from it. Stoops runs a good program and keeps young men on the straight path and instills good character in them. In the long run that is better then some messily benefits that might only benefit you in the short turn
If people reported all the “offers” they got then just about every single school in America would get shut down lol
Boomer – Parkers family don’t have their “hands out” so it wouldn’t matter. And to be honest the rumor sounds unfounded (1) Ross and Parker aren’t tight (2) there are a ton of DBs in Texas this year…aint many folks trying to pay for an Oklahoma HS safety
that’s good to hear, but he’s really interested in what they are selling what ever it is… starting spot, $$…. just speculating on what “a lot of stuff” is…
Parker liked his trip to TAMU but that’s about all there is to it. Everyone said that he was going to commit soon that day and we said he wouldn’t and he didn’t. Again, no one can always be right but we feel pretty confident TAMU isn’t as big a threat as they might have been or maybe once seemed.
I have heard so many rumors from alleged people in the know about this kid it is absolutely comical. “I went to the game and sat by a friend of the Parker’s and they said people told him that Steven is going to OSU and Overton is going to LSU”…You name it, it’s been posted on a message board. I’m just ready to get this kid on board and move past this crazy saga. It has brought out the worst in Sooners fans.
When folks said he was about to TAMU who told y’all he wasn’t? 😉 And he didn’t.
Notice I said “I’m just ready to get this kid on board” and most have it has a coin flip at best…must be listening to someone who is confident about Parker to OU, no? 😉
Well with kids there is always a caveat…cause they will often surprise you. But having said that – yes we’re confident based on what we’re hearing that Parker will end up at OU.
Glad to hear this kid is still likely going to OU. Do you think the game this weekend might sway him more towards OSU if OU loses?
Nope. We have a good source here and right now we’re pretty certain OSU isn’t a really player for Parker even with a win next week.
