Steven Parker Note: Will not be Visiting this Weekend

Contrary to some reports we got confirmation tonight that Steven Parker is NOT going to be in Norman this weekend. We will let you know if that changes. But as of now he is not going to be there.
Also wanted to take a moment to clear up some rumors. We’ve had people emailing/commenting in regards to Steven Parker. So:
1. No, Alex Ross and Steven are not tight and the idea that Alex is somehow dissuading Steven from coming to OU or would even have that kind of influence is false.
2. Also the rumor that Steven doesn’t like Coach Mike Stoops is false.
The bottom is there is no big conspiracy here. Steven is a young man who is taking his time to decide where he wants to go to school and where he wants to play. It’s just going to have to play out.

Can you share the reasoning as to why he won’t be in Norman? Also, will he take an official to OU?
No we don’t know the exact reason why but we do know that as of right now he isn’t close to make a decision. He’s seen Norman a lot anyhow. There is talk that he may take another official to another school later in the year but I’m not at liberty to give info on that but when we can we will.
I fig’d he’d use his OVs to other schools since he’s seen us a lot and it’s not like he doesn’t get the royal treatment when he does visit anyhow
yeah it isn’t a big deal that isn’t coming. Parker is still going through the process as they say. Problem is some other folks got everyone spooked last week thinking he was about to commit to TAMU

Is Alex Ross transferring a foregone conclusion?
Last I heard about Alex was about 3 weeks ago from a pretty good source and there were NO plans of transferring. I honestly don’t know where the rumors came from.
