The Football Brainiacs

So I’m a little…I wouldn’t say ticked but a little irked that the Sooners are #4.  The conservative side of me says I should be thankful that they’re in the playoffs if they started today.  Still though I thought they’d be a little higher.

 

I’d like to play Alabama.  Either way in the semi’s or in the finals if the Sooners make it in I’d love to see Oklahoma flat wear out the tide.

 

Does playing KU this weekend hurt the Sooners in the eyes of the committee?  It shouldn’t.  Bama plays mighty Mercer & Clemson squares off with the renowned Citadel.  The Sooners need to look impressive that’s for sure.

 

I’m curious to see how the young freshmen DB’s do now that they’re settled in as starters.  I’d really love to see a dominant defensive performance.

 

Does Baker do some things to solidify his Heisman campaign?  Man I’d really like to see #6 come home to the Switzer Center.

 

How does Riley play it?  Will the team come out and play with authority?  Will we see a flat Sooners team that struggles when they shouldn’t?  Have the Sooners grown up enough to fix some of the maturity issues?

 

Can the Sooners stay healthy this week?  Will they play well enough early to allow some of the young guys to get some reps and develop much needed depth?  Will the Sooners look forward to West Virginia next week and have it come back and bite them?

 

The Sooners should be able to do about anything they want offensively….they should…I want to see them dominate defensively.

 

Man we need a shutout.  It would surely silence the critics…they may say well it’s only Kansas but that’s better than giving up three scores to em.

 

I’m picking Sooners to cover the spread.  I’m goin all in with this team.  63-10 Sooners
