Did the writer of that Bradford article have an ax to grind? While it’s true his NFL career wasn’t exactly what everyone expected, part of the blame has to go on the franchise that drafted him. He may have lead the league in number of games missed in his first few years, but he also lead the league in times sacked. He was put behind the 8 ball the minute the Rams drafted him, which is backed up by the 3 OC’s he went through in his first 3 years.
Yep. Like almost any team situation the one part is often only as good as the sum of all the other parts. I hope Sam gets out of the NFL while he can still walk and chew solid food. I think a good chunk of his contract was guaranteed so he has already made more in four years than most will (he’s lapped me) in their lifetime.
His situation is eerily similar to David Carr.
Petty MIGHT make it to the OU game…if he does, he won’t make it through the game. He’ll be taking way too many hits to hang around…
