Wow, Coach Gundy sure knows how to rile up a whole state! Love it!

      • Indy_sooner says:

Straight shooter. Say’s it like it is…. Gotta love it, and it’s not the first time he’s done it either

        • Eric Hoffpauir says:

I rewatched the Sugar Bowl the other night. The announcers were practically giddy talking about how Stoops probably shouldn’t have poked the tiger with his preseason comments about the SEC.

  • Jim says:

Hey team, there’s a resident troll on LT who posted something regarding Kahlil Haughton that would lead a person to believe he’s down to Baylor and Tech. I know he enjoyed his trip to Lubbock, but it’s tough to think we’re out of it. Can you follow up by chance?

  • ToatsMcGoats says:

Glad you’re back, Jordan! Hope you had a nice vacay.

    • Jordan Esco says:

appreciated (tho I’m actually still here in Seattle until a little later today)

  • Steve Cooke says:

Hey Jordan did you bring the limo back with ya!

  • Don Mitchell says:

if I could sign in this would be my reply…..beating your ass the last three times is a national championship to me……you can call it hollow shallow and sure there’s no trophy but at the end of the day….it’s great knowing you own somebody’s ass…you don’t fear Alabama we look forward to beating Alabama….it’s going to be great watching your conference emplode the next couple years

  • ohiosoonerdevildog says:

Jordan we all appreciate the donation you made to the new facilities that OU is building. From what we have heard you put T. Boone Pickens to shame with your donation.

  • DCinAZ says:

It’s funny how Bama tards always make fun of the BIG XII, which is full of offenses Bama obviously can’t stop.

    • CcrBoomer says:

Nick Saban (126-95 ATS) has covered the spread in 57.01 percent of
his games, but heโ€™s been anything but a bounce-back coach at Alabama.
The Crimson Tide are 3-10 against the spread after a straight-up loss
      under Saban.

In contrast, Oklahoma is 22-8 ATS after a straight-up loss under coach
Bob Stoops. Iowa is 29-15-1 ATS after a straight-up loss under coach
      Kirk Ferentz.

Would it be possible to get a schedule of OU’s summer/fall practices? Not looking for detailed times, but more of a “this is when everybody reports, this is when two a days start, etc”.

  • Jim says:

I’ve now lived and worked in Austin/Austin area for 11 years. I’ll say this. Is Austin over-rated? Yes. Does it suck? No. The primary reason for that is the piss-poor infrastructure of the city. City engineers were so damn high while constructing this area that they completely ignored the inevitable – change and growth. The highway system in and around Austin is a complete and utter CF. The drivers here are beyond rage-inducing; primarily b/c this place is such a melting pot of world cultures with different driving habits/expectations. Basically, this place has a ton of fun stuff to do….if you can get there….and then find somewhere to park…without stopping to kill someone first for basically being an elitist douchebag who possesses no manners or value for others around them. So basically, if you ever want to come to Austin to check everything out, just plan ahead…way ahead. That way you might avoid epic frustration levels and actually enjoy your time.

    • Eric Hoffpauir says:

Longtime Austinites like to portray their town as more awful than it really is. They like to dissuade even more people from moving in to dilute the local color and clog up the highways.

      • Jim says:

That kid who wrote the article has only lived in Austin 4 years and is originally from California. He’s barely seen squat here. He just moved to the wrong city.

        • Eric Hoffpauir says:

          Hahaha! That’s even worse.

        • Shelby is a Patriot says:

I’ve noticed a lot of Californians moving to Austin lately.

          • Jim says:

There’s a lot of EVERYBODY moving here. My neck of the woods (Cedar Park – north of Austin) is the 3rd fastest growing area in the country right now. It’s nuts here.

          • Shelby is a Patriot says:

Not surprising, a lot of people moving to Texas in general nowadays. I used to live near Bastrop which isn’t too far from there, it was growing like crazy, but live closer to I-10 now.

  • ohiosoonerdevildog says:

Im starting the movement now #JordanEscoMemorialStadium

  • rphdenton says:

fehoko (sp) posting that there will be no visits anywhere……solid to tt

    • Jim says:

Saw that. There’s still 5 1/2 months of watching Tech not play defense that could sway him. We’ll see. I guess it depends if Monty fully moves on from Fehoko.

  • Jim says:

Imagine that “Greatest Moments” video with 2013 added on! Love it!

    • FeedtheMonster says:

Yeah, I thought that too. Even so, the combination of those Sooner highlights and the “Remember the Titans” music sent chills down my spine!

  • Chase Korenek says:

Glad to have ya back Jordan, hope you enjoyed the getaway.

  • Chase Korenek says:

Only bad thing about the OU highlight videos this time of year is after you’re done watching and the goosebumps have all gone away you stop and think to yourself, damn…I still have to weight 60 somethin’ days until the first game!

  • connie usa says:

    This sucks (as an OU Grad and an Eagle fan);

Lane Johnson, who started all 17 games for the Eagles at right tackle last year as a rookie first-round pick, will miss the first four games of the 2014 season thanks to a four-game NFL suspension for a positive PED test, a league source confirmed Monday afternoon.

The news was first reported by Paul Domowitch of The Philadelphia Daily News.

According to the NFL collective bargaining agreement, a first positive test for performance-enhancing drugs is a four-game suspension.

re sunderland………..fwiw, poster caught an interview………Just listened to his phone interview with hog sports radio in Arkansas, which is an ESPN station, and he said his top 4 are Ohio State, OU, Nebraska, and Arkansas. No clue if thats his order or not
