If Bob Stoops is willing to be a podcast guest, then that’s even more reason for TFB to ramp up the progress in getting a podcast on the air! (ESPN)

Your standard quote from Big 12 head honchos about how they have no interest in expanding, but interesting item of note about the Big 12/Big East nearly merging back in 2011. (ESPN)

Interesting article here on shuttle services & recruiting, a topic I know K has addressed here multiple times. (CBS Sports)

Pretty clever, but wouldn’t that be a balk?

That’s one ballsy little bird. Respect.

No, you don’t have to throw to second on a pick attempt.

It would not hurt my feelings one bit to hear a podcast on this site…..in case you were wondering. 🙂

Not a balk. You can fake to second either stepping off the rubber (tough to tell if he did this), or not. My brother’s 14 and under team used to run this play back in the 90’s. Worked about half the time.

You’re right. And he does actually step with his right foot first. He does it pretty quick but he does do it. That pitcher has really good footwork.

Haha, mockingbirds are mean as hell when it comes to being territorial or protective. Anyone who has come close to a mockingbird nest during mating season can attest to that. But that hawk is funny. Just sits there like, “whatever man. I’m just chill here.”

What I found very interesting about the article on “Shuttle Services” was the exclusion of most of the top recruiting schools. No Alabama, no Florida, no Texas, no Texas A&M but he felt the need to include three schools (including Oklahoma) who could not provide information in his “camp hustle” chart.
Also, Jeremy Fowler is a Florida alum and the guy that Urban Meyer screamed at a few years back when he was still the coach at Florida. Is it a coincidence that the two main schools in focus in the article is Ohio State and Florida State? No trying to take away from the main point of the article, which I think is very valid, but it seemed very selective.

I heard Barry Tramel bring up his idea for conference realignment. (Yeah no matter how you feel about him, I thought it was the one worthy shot to make the Big 12 legit.) Someway/Somehow do some wheelin’ and dealiin’ with LSU and Arkansas. With the next TV contract convince that that with the focus of the SEC being on other schools such as Bama, Florida, or Auburn. If they decided to join the program it would put them in a nice position overall in regards to athletics.

In my opinion, that’s what it would take for the conference to survive in the long run. Not adding Cincinnati, UTEP, Houston, or San Diego State but bringin in legit programs.

On the first video, it wouldn’t be a balk, because he stepped off the rubber first, then faked the throw (there is no requirement to throw the ball). The only balk given for a non-throw is if the pitcher fakes to third, then throws to first with runners on.
