Really hope the Sooner ladies roll Bama this week, should be a good series if we can keep everyone healthy.

haha, I wish I had a better excuse. I’ve been trying to recover all weekend, pretty sure I tore a calf muscle Saturday morning.
Do any of TFB (or others) know when the 2014 signees are going to be in Norman? Also do you know when Summer 2-A-Days start?
Most are expected in next week I believe. A couple of the Cali kids might get in a little later, but that’s pretty typical. Then you have the kids who could need summer school to still qualify that would probably arrive until early August.
Are you sure it’s this early Jordan? I didn’t think they were allowed to report prior to mid June.
You might be right. I thought it was the first week of June, so either way I think we’re generally around the same timeline.
Chamberlain is not only an amazing hitter, and teammate, but a great role model for younger athletes. I know she is making a good impact on my niece who plays Softball. I obviously hope they beat Bama, and I would like to see the reaction from the jerk I witnessed after the rain defeat 2 years ago. I was at the Sugar Bowl and all of their fans I encountered were great, but I couldn’t help myself from thinking about that guy at the WCWS, and imagining how the Sooner whoopin’ his Tide was receiving made him feel!
I really despise this Bama team. Just left me w/ such a bad taste in my mouth w/ how they conducted themselves two years ago. Really hoping OU can get the W on Thursday night.
That rain delay still pisses me off. Such a crock and change in momentum. I believe they would’ve been back to back ( soon to be 3x?) champs.
Yeah, I have always felt OU had the better team, and we were winning when that happened, so there’s another reason to hope our girls will slam Bama.
I know TFB is all about Sooner football (and it’s the best place on the net for that), but if you’ve never watched the ladies play softball, this is the time to start watching!
I have a 15 year old and a 19 year old, both boys and both baseball players…but, this time of year has become somewhat of a tradition for us to watch the college ladies play softball. We started about 6 years ago (just before our Sooners really hit their stride), and it’s been absolutely great. There are some really good athletes playing an exciting game.
The best part is watching our Sooners on the diamond. We have the best coach in the country, and one of, if not THE best players to ever step in the batter’s box. That’s no exaggeration.
With the dog days of summer approaching, and just under 100 days ’til football, do yourself a favor and check out the ladies. You won’t be disappointed.
