Scattershootin’ on Oklahoma Vs. Texas Tech

A lot of it depends on which Sooner team shows up.  Last week I thought they’d come out with their hair on fire…they didn’t.

I’m not sure which teams shows up for Texas Tech either.  Historically they don’t play well in Norman.  They also took Oklahoma State to the wire and almost beat em.

I don’t think the Red Raiders will be able to stop the Sooner Offense.  I think the Sooners score about 42.

I did have confidence in the Sooner run defense until last week.  The Red Raiders run more than they have in the past so they may try to exploit the Sooners there.

It’s a huge recruiting weekend.  Everybody, their mama, their dog and friends will be at the game for what’s shaping up to be the biggest in season recruiting weekend that I can remember.

The Sooners need to come out and make a statement if they plan on making the college football playoff.

The issues they have are all fixable, a guy a gap off.  A missed block or penalty here or there.  95% of everything going on with the Sooners is between the ears.

You all know how high Super K and I are on the capabilities this team has.   We just haven’t seen it consistently.  Can they come out and dominate a team they should?

Will they be looking forward to Oklahoma State?  OSU’s only loss is to TCU and they’re only behind the Sooners two spots in the polls.  Will the guys look forward and get bit, or will they take care of business?

Oklahoma SHOULD boat race this Texas Tech team.  Texas Tech will be ready to play.

If the Sooners get up a couple of scores early can they go for the jugular and put this team away?

Oddsmakers have this game going to the Sooners 53-31.  That’s a funky score.  It’s been a funky year.  If the Sooners come out with a killer instinct that seems about right!
