Yes, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your willingness to put your life on the line for someone you’ve net met. I salute you all.

That loss on Saturday, and the way it came about….so devastating. They overcame so much just to be in that game three. Would have loved for their last game to be in OKC.

I was also a bit disappointed in the men after splitting the regular season games vs Okie St and 2-1 over texass. But, yeah, leaving runners on base like that is equivalent to kicking FGs instead of scoring TDs….comes back to bite you.

    • soonermusic says:

yeah, it was pretty exciting watching Chamberlain do what she does, and then such a let down afterwards…

      • SoonerGoneEast says:

I had two catch the last part of the game in my car. When the GS happened I just wanted to pull over and park. Just felt terrible for them.

    • Stephen Dale says:

Just me, but I would like to have seen Stevens or Pendley start gm#2 and rest Parker as long as possible knowing gm #3 was on the horizon if the team didn’t win #2…….

      • SoonerGoneEast says:

I get that, but start Stevens or Pendley and the likelihood of a game three at Bama becomes even greater. You’ve got a little momentum, stick with who/what got you there. Besides, the Friday game was the first Parker had pitched in days. No way that affects her pitching on Saturday.

  • hOUligan says:

Hoover pretty well sums it up. Some paid the ultimate price for us and left us with a debt we can scarcely repay other than by promising to ‘never forget’ and to continue to protect that for which they paid. We remember them this day and give thanks.

    • Stephen Dale says:

and THAT is the problem !!!! people do FORGET.. politicians , who have never put on a uniform, make national policies affecting all of us FORGET…..it has been 70 yrs since WW2 and the generation that sacrificed so much for following generations freedom are all but gone—-and still few understand what it takes to stay free : the desire and determination to FIGHT for those liberties we enjoy ; the mindset by this countrys leadership to spare nothing to keep this country free ; the WILLpower of the populace to endure whatever hardships are necessary to provide the manpower and support needed to win a war……when one thinks of it, the US has not won a war with the support of the people since WW2 !!!!! Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq have lost the support of the people and, ultimately, the support of the civilian leadership ( politicans ).. this country seems to lack the moral leadership , political courage, and national support to endure long enough to win another global conflict—–and that is just what Russia, China, Iran, ISIS, North Korea —are counting on…

    John Hoover is a tool

    • hOUligan says:

Agreed…but even a blind hog finds a truffle now and then.

    • Hooknladder says:

Maybe, but he at least has the nads to not be Bob’s yes man. ONCE in awhile he actually holds the coaches accountable.

      • JD says:

He’s not even a sooner fan…when you have your own agenda it’s easy to come off like he does…and nads have nothing to do with it unless your talking about sheep

        • MrBigsby says:

Sports writer’s SHOULDN’T be fans of the teams they cover.

          • JD says:

The shouldn’t continue to ask the same question over and over again we the coach already answered it…Have you heard some of his stupid questions…they also should be an anti fan of the team either…too much bad mojo that he should serious go follow another team

          • MrBigsby says:

I never said I liked him. Just don’t want everything reported through crimson colored glasses either.
