From now former #Sooners RB Keith Ford – “It’s not official yet because I still need to talk with the coaches, but I am leaning towards Texas A&M.” (247)

OU’s Ty Darlington is one of 52 (yes, 52) centers on the 2015 Rimington Trophy spring watch list. (Rimington)
Sooners check in at No. 5 on this list of the Big 12’s post-spring d-line units. (ESPN)
I suppose it’s mainly due to the fact I’m not a fan of either school, but for the life of my I cannot understand the never ending love affair media have with this game. Nothing you have to add on the subject is new and/or clever at this point. Quit rehashing the same version of a similar story over and over and over and over….
It's time for UT and A&M to grow up … and for the Big 12 and SEC to apply pressure on them to play. http://t.co/2lJ2mKTyTv

Baylor’s Shawn Oakman jumping on a 40″ plyo box while holding 70 pound dumbbells. Um, wow. AD-esque.

Not entirely sure what it says about me, but this made me laugh really hard yesterday.

That Louisville decision looks better & better every day huh…. & Texas/Texas A&M has always been a bigger game in the state of Texas.. Im not sure what the national writers have to do with it.. But that’s always been THE game for Texans…
Never was for me or my family, but I guess it was for devout gAggie and wHorn fans.
Growing up in Houston I had no idea where OU was. It was always about the UT/A&M game.
Glad I aged out of that 😉
LOL!
Growing up in East Texas I had no idea where Austin or College Station were, but I knew where Norman and OKC were.
Oakman should’ve declared.
Yeah but he is a dirty player never forget the cheap shot he took at our quarterback.
That’s right. We will not lose to Baylor this year.
aka james hale
yep……the dirty hit qualified for a season-ending suspension……
Nah, hes a freak, but dosent have good technique. He needs another year.
he’s already mastered the technique of ‘dirty’ player….the pros should love him…
True story. Had an Aggie try to tell me that the UT-A&M game was a more “storied” rivalry than the RRS/RRR.
I would have been less offended if he had slapped my grandmother.
It is to most Texans.. Especially Aggies..
From people I’ve spoken with and reading countless message boards, Longhorn fans would prefer keeping the RRS over UT/A&M. Likewise, if we could only play one rivalry, OSU would have to go.
Got to be disappointing finish for the tennis team. I’ve played tennis all my life and even in major tournaments, to get to the finals and finish a runner up just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
Still a heck of a season, just need to find the missing piece to turn a 2 time national runner up team into a 2 time national champion!
So, we’re basically trading A&M a running back for a DB…? Assuming we get Harvey…
Haven’t been following NFL news, does this PAT rule start this coming season?
Glad they waited until after Garo Yepremian had passed before announcing the change.
One of the best.
Yessir.
A great story and a colorful character.
OU offered two DBs from Texas.
Love the dog vid! Thanx Jordan. Laughing is a good way to start the day.
Actually the Big XII did quite well in several of the non main stream sports. Mens and Womens Gymnastics, Wrestling, Softball, M/W Tennis, and getting into Rowing. Nothing wrong with growing in the other sports, but we definatly need to get the FB back where it should be.
Softball? Uh, no!! The Big 12 is the reason OU’s tournament seed is so low.
Yeah, but last year the Big XII was considered one of the Best Conferences.
Time to look forward, not backwards.
I only said that because OU, TCU and Baylor were on the Final 4 for men’s tennis, not trying to diminish the accomplishments in the other sports.
No problem. Didn’t mean for that to come off as an attack, and if it did I apologize. Just an open discussion. I didn’t take it as you were diminishiing anything.
It’s cool, I didn’t feel attacked. I know OU has had a lot of success this year across many sports, but I haven’t paid any attention to the conference success across all of those same sports. “Exclude” would have been a better word to use than “diminish”.
