SOFTBALL

FOOTBALL (FREE)

This ‘football only’ expansion theory, for whatever reason/s, has become really popular over the course of the last several days.

Because Ok State has a say in anything?

Shocker.

OTHER

UFC does the right thing here (obviously), but still looks like s#$% for ever having done it in the first place.

Brilliant.

WTF?

I would love to see UCF in the Big 12(-2). It’s a 3 hour drive to Orlando for me.

    • SoonerfanTU says:

They have a lot of long-term potential, but they may be too far away from realizing it to make sense for the Big 12.

Of course there are some OU fans that think anything short of ND would be a bad addition.

      • jimintexas says:

What appears to be lost at times, is the importance of how the national media and others view the conference, when it comes to making the Final 4. I don’t know that these kind of schools really help and they may actually kind of hurt. But, I could be wrong.

    • rainydaze114 says:

Isn’t UCF the largest school in Florida? Student-wise I mean…

70,000 plus vs 56,000 plus at UF, 46,000 plus at FSU

      • hOUligan says:

Did not realize just how large their enrollment is. THE largest campus enrollment in the nation. Larger than aTm or tOsu @ 50k +. And if they can seat 65k they would be behind only texsa and OU for capacity as currently configured. Plus OU gets a larger footprint in Florida/sec country. I’m liking this more and more.

It seems that this is far from over. They believe they can keep all their coaches except the head coach for having knowledge of the complaints? They believe they can keep some of the Pepper Hamilton report secret, possibly regarding the regents own knowledge? I don’t think they can. And where is the otherwise ubiquitous NCAA? Or the Big 12 itself? Their self created disaster is far from over in my opinion because they are still hiding things and until they stop it won’t – and shouldn’t- be over. Actions are going to be forced on them eventually at some point the way this is going.

      • SoonerMagic76 says:

You’re absolutely right – I sure hope actions are placed on them. There is virtually no way you can convince me that Briles sr. was the only coach with knowledge of the situations. The report needs to come out.

And I agree about the regents – I want to know their role in all of this

      • Bob Edwards says:

The NCAA usually takes time to do anything. I suspect when they do it will be major. Baylor is the type of school they like to make an example of. School with a name but not a lot of TV sets that would be lost by putting them on probation. Lot’s of similarities to SMU back when they got the death penalty.

        • Framoka says:

IMO (worthless of course), the NCAA does nothing. Its not going to repeat the PSU mess. Baylor will struggle for awhile with recruiting, but I think they’ll be pretty good on the field this year. I think OU and TCU are the teams to beat; Baylor has lots of pieces to replace and they have a lot of negativity to deal with. Grobe is a good coach, they will fight.

          • Daryl says:

IMO (just as worthless or maybe even more so) is the NCAA needs to do something. The PSU situation was completely different because the players had nothing to do the with the situation. It was a coach seeing another coach doing horrible things running home to his daddy then telling Joe and Joe and administration not following through. So taking scholarships from players made no sense in that case. That needed and should have been a coaching and admin. fire sale and leave the players out of it.

Baylor has a situation that includes all parties. PLAYERS were assaulting victims and who knows how many assaults will and have gone unaccounted for because the players, coaches, and administration covered these actions up. I am so tired of people comparing this to PSU. Assaulting children is awful absolutely evil, but again it wasn’t players that were doing evil it was a coach. Baylor is program completely out of control from the school president to the water-boys and needs to be dealt with by the NCAA.

          • Bob Edwards says:

Exactly, PSU was a criminal act by someone who just happened to be associated with the FB program, but in no official capacity and had no direct relationship to any of the players or their recruitment or participation in the sport. All of involved violations of the law, but not NCAA regulations.
In the Baylor case it’s players and official members of the FB staff and athletic department involved as well as there appear to have been direct violations of NCAA regulations.

        • rainydaze114 says:

Maybe… the NCAA also has shown with the Penn St (reversal of their ruling) thing that they aren’t too keen to get involved in legal matters.

          • Bob Edwards says:

The problem with PSU is that they didn’t really have any jurisdiction because the issues were not really related to NCAA rules violation. In the case of Baylor you do appear to have rules violations as well. If they go after them they will use those to do so.

          • rainydaze114 says:

I’m unclear on the difference I guess. Seem like very similar cases to me.

          • Bob Edwards says:

When the Sandusky stuff came out he hadn’t been a coach for a decade. There weren’t’ any accusations that I am aware of that he broke NCAA rules. What he did was criminal, but the NCAA doesn’t prosecute sex crimes, murders or anything else like that they regulate sports.
In the case of Baylor there appear to have been actual NCAA violations in addition to the rapes. If they go after Baylor, assuming they learned their lesson with PSU, they will actually penalize them for the NCAA violations.
Since they were on probation in both 2005 and 2012 in different sports, they are eligible for the death penalty because it has been less than five years between the current probation and the prior one and because of the dreaded “lack of institutional control.

          • Birddawg says:

            Its safe to say.
Someone will get their hands on this situation whether its the NCAA or Govt and drop the hammer.

          • Bob Edwards says:

            I would expect both.

          • rainydaze114 says:

So it sounds like if Baylor is going to get punished, their legal matters won’t be a part of it. Right? I don’t know…

          • MoJoOkie says:

I would argue that legal problems of this magnitude could lend credence to the “lack of institutional control” designation. If your players are consistently outside the lines, perhaps the institution has a control problem. Maybe not death penalty level, but certainly worthy of sanctions.

Good morning fellow Brainiacs!!! “It is indeed another fine day to be a SOONER” So get out there and make the most of it!!!

  • Austin Dye says:

I know this got discussed a little bit in last nights thread, but holy crap was Auburn the most cocky team in last nights pressed or what!? The entire team never gave Ou credit for a good game including coach Myers. One girl referred to Paige as our “one pitcher” and said they’ve got her figured out so it won’t take long to score runs tonight. But what really got me was when one reporter asked Myers his thoughts on the fact Gasso wouldn’t commit to saying Paige was starting tonight, and before the question was over every player at the presser started laughing. This is when I wish Kelsey Stevens could dig deep and find one more good game in her and Gasso start her tonight and just shut AU down! That would do them justice! Screw Auburn and Boomer Sooner!!

    • Dick Bump says:

I think it was bluster to try to regain their confidence. After all, they are 1 game away from elimination. Pretty weak on the sportsmanship meter.

    • Framoka says:

Bring the AU hate Austin! I know all the teams do it, but its a real clown show in those dugouts during the game. Kinda cute and kinda annoying. I’d like to see Stevens also. BOOMER!!

  • rainydaze114 says:

I actually kinda like the UCF idea. They’re the 2nd largest school in the country, so you know the money and support is there. I’m not sure about how their sports are outside of football, but I know they’ve put together some solid football teams over the years. They’re not a flashy pickup, but they might be good long-term.

    • Framoka says:

If we do expand (I wish we’d leave); I agree on UCF. I’d try to steal USF as well. Tampa and Orlando are great TV markets; travel there is easy and desirable for fans with families and of course Florida is at least the third best state for talent.

      • Oscar says:

With Florida’s tax friendly environment, it is only getting more and more populated and continue to grow economically.

    • Birddawg says:

They may have a large student base but they suck on the field.
I don’t remember UCF in any recent bowl game.
      Football program isn’t exactly average.

    • John Garner says:

They did beat Baylor in a bowl game. (But kind of sucked last season. But then so did saxeT.)

  • Dick Bump says:

How about the University of Phoenix? They have 162,000 students and a stadium?

  • SoonerMagic76 says:

Nice article by Stewart Mandel on how rough the last few weeks of college football shenanigans have been

    • Dick Bump says:

I thought that was a good article, too. It doesn’t look like the media is going to get off of Bailer until the season starts.

  • Bob Edwards says:

Maybe we should hope Baylor football get’s the death penalty. That drops us to nine teams and probably voids our media contracts. Might be the out we need to leave.

  • Soonerfandave84 says:

I say they vote to shrink the B12 by one school. Allow the University of Oklahoma to leave.

HUH? So you picked to lose Game 1?

  • BoomCity89 says:

This coming up year is a big turning point for the Sooners. They bounced back from an 8-5 season to enter the College Football Playoffs, we’ve all seen what that has done for recruiting purposes. You also have all these renovations being done to the stadium to catch the eyes of the high school kids. They can take advantage of this opportunity by having another great season and having a great future ahead of us. If for some reason they slip up, you’ll continue to hear the talks about the Sooners being a “has been team”. Let’s change what the rest of the country thinks about us by dominating next year and showing that Boomer Sooner is here to continue to stay and hungry for much much more!

    • Stephen Dale says:

taking care of business against Houston & tOSU will be a good start AND showing up in dallas and actually competing to win the RRS will be a really good start ….its been a while since the Sooners played a solid game against Texas

      • Dick Bump says:

Stephen Alexander and Steve Zabel had their times as well. Best ever covers a lot of territory. Steve Zabel in particular played both ways.

Or as texsa sucks would say they gettin’ errrbody.

    • John Garner says:

Yeah, like the 911 report that redacts everything about the Saudi’s. The Baylor board is definitely complicit.

    • Matt says:

KJ, the two things that I think the O-line really needed to do better last year was handle stunts and blitzes and then execute reach blocks on linebackers. I think both of those really hurt OU in the Orange Bowl. Do you think they’ll improve at both of those things?

      • KJ1123 says:

I think the stunts and blitzes will be handled better because of experience. Last year they had Ty and Nila but it was a new offense. This year the 3 vets will have an easier time. Reach blocks depend on athleticism imo. I think Dalton, Samia and Avalrez are the more athletic OLs we have. However, I wouldn’t rule Bobby Evans out from over taking Daimler at that RT spot if they kick Samia inside. Evans is very athletic as well.

        • Matt says:

Awesome, good to hear! Do you think Brown has the athleticism needed for the outside zone blocks?

          • MoJoOkie says:

I’m not KJ, but I thought Brown did extremely well last year considering his youth. I saw good improvement as the season went on too. He’s not going to attack the second level as much as the guards do though.

          • Matt says:

            Gotcha.

          • Rick says:

Mojo, one thing I liked about Brown was his attitude. Did he make some mistakes? Did he need to work on his technique? Did he at times perform quite well? The answer in my mind to all of the questions was yes. His mindset and attitude was, in my opinion, his most important asset. The kid’s got the right attitude, right mindset, and obviously the right physical attributes to be an awesome tackle. I’m quite sure he will become an All-Pro in his future.

          • MoJoOkie says:

Really couldn’t agree more, Rick. I think this year he will step his game up even more. I thought he made oakman a non-factor in that game and I appreciated him greatly for that.

          • Drew says:

You have to think that Brown played a big role in showing NFL scouts what a sham Oakman was. I’d like to think that, even w/o the assault stuff, that he still would’ve gone undrafted.

          • Matt says:

Yeah with the offseason being so long ( 🙁 ) I’ve had time to rewatch a LOT of plays (to my wife’s dismay haha) and watching him against Derek Barnett and Malik Jefferson (probably the two most natural pass rushers he faced all year besides Lawson for 3 plays in the OB) he held his own on most plays. He did give up a couple sacks and pressures against those guys but that’s alright. I think he’s going to be great.

          • KJ1123 says:

Honestly, I think Orlando gets away with alot because of his size and length. Dont get me wrong, there have been times where I was like, yeah, that’s a NFL type movement, but I think he need to develop more.

          • Matt says:

Gotcha. Hope he takes a big step!

          • Drew says:

I agree, but he’s still very young. He has time to learn. And, think of how well he did last year relying so little on technique? If he continues to learn and improve, he could certainly be great.

        • D Hunter Sanchez says:

Great piece. Consumer debt (as gigantic as it is) is only a small portion of the debt economy. Over sold derivatives go into the 10s of trillions. Economist/Entrepreneurs such as Doug Casey (Casey Research) Bill Bonner, Peter Schiff, Currency historian Mike Maloney, market gurus Jim Rodgers, George Soros, Stanley Druckenmiller, Eric Sprott and many other highly respected businessmen, economist, and professional investors and advisors, believe a total dollar debt collapse is coming.

If they ever sue you, you can have it dismissed by simply showing up to the court date. 99.9999% of the time they will have nobody show up. Happened to me. I just told the judge I had no idea what the debt was or who was suing me and she said, “Well, you win. No one showed up on the plaintiff’s behalf.” Walked out of the courtroom and never heard another word about it.

      • Jed says:

So. Either we all die (or go off and live in caves, wearing animal skins)..or we have a global ‘do over’. Look at the Dutch tulip bubble or the south seas bubble.
There may well be a reckoning moment, but since derivatives are imaginary in the first place, they will affect real economic activity for only a short period. Keep yourself unextended and you’ll be fine.

        • Oscar says:

True. As Doug Casey says, true assets are not destroyed, the are just re-valued, and when they are down, that is when you buy.

          • Jed says:

Best piece of financial advice I ever heard was from Kid Rock. “Live beneath your means.”
The only time Wall Street can really hurt you is when you are ‘trying too hard’ and have extended yourself and become a slave to your possessions. If the stuff in your life is so important to you that losing it would make your self image change much at all, you’ve got problems that are far deeper than any external stock market fiasco.

      Who’s the creep now?

    • Maverick says:

Love him too, although I don’t always agree 100%.

I get annoyed when he doesn’t show both sides of the coin. Could easily do a piece on how damaging it is to the economy when people buy goods and services that they know they’ll never pay for.

Of the two problems, people not paying their bills vs debt buyers, I think it’s pretty clear that the first is a much bigger problem, but he makes it seem like everyone who owes a debt is a victim.

      • Jed says:

I largely agree with you. But I’d place medical debt in a special category. And I’d go further to say that about 75% of medical debt is illegit from the start. A person can be for or against ‘Obamacare’ but anyone who seriously considers the matter has to acknowledge a couple of key points, we pay more for medical care than any other country on earth…and receive on the whole a very mediocre product. Secondly, there is zero competition among providers of medical care, so there is no free market operating in this 16~20% of the economy. And thirdly, nothing done so far in the way of ‘reform’ has addressed the cost side of the equation whatsoever.
So, if hospitals, or, by extension, pharma makers or device makers get screwed, it’s no more than a tiny fraction of what they do to us hourly.

        • OUhomer4life says:

And I’d bet she obeys the rules and didn’t make them, to boot. My beef is more with the costs and how those costs are run up to start with.
And that we seem to have no stomach, nationally, to debate how, or if, we address runaway medical costs.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

Side note: Always get an itemized bill and review it carefully. Some things get “used” in surgery that are unnecessary.

          • Jed says:

You are correct in that, but here’s the rub: my father has had three knee replacements and finally an amputation along with several sessions of congestive heart failure resulting in seven major hospitalizations.
In each instance, the bill ran to over 100 pages and none of the entries was identified by anything other than a billing code. There was no way to review the bill.
Finally we hired a medical billing firm out of Connecticut to review the bills (which, in aggregate, ran to over $1 million). They found that almost 75% was erroneous. Not just a bit padded, but for services that simply were not performed on the patient in question. Case in point: a pace maker. $35,000. Except no pace maker was ever implanted or otherwise used. And the billing didn’t even purport to include a surgical procedure to implant a pace maker. It was kind of like buying a new car and having the dealership throw in a bill for a lawn tractor as well. Just ‘because’.
Result? The hospital simply accepted the challenges and adjusted the bill…and then turned it over to a bill collector immediately because it was ‘late’. I’m still fighting with the credit agencies to get my folks’ credit fixed.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

That’s terrible. I’m sorry to hear that.

          • Jed says:

Yeah, me too. I lived 25 years overseas, mostly as a ‘local’ contractor to American companies…so I was on my own for arranging health coverage.. (Yes, I was well compensated, yes the companies worked with me to route the insurance coverage in such a way as to minimize taxes, etc. I was well treated and am in no way complaining.) My family had great care for about half the insurance cost as here…and paid about 1/10 of what we would have here for in-patient care.
We don’t have to live this way.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

Side note: Always get an itemized bill and review it carefully. Some things get “used” in surgery that are unnecessary.

        • Maverick says:

I’m not well informed enough on the subject to speak intelligently about it, but I disagree anecdotally that our quality of care is subpar. We have the best doctors and hospitals in the world. People come from all over the world to be cared for here.

I also would question the competition aspect. Are you saying that competition is restricted because of insurance? Otherwise, there seems to be plenty of competition for where I go for medical care.

Not saying our medical system is fair or perfect, but I would question those points. Then again I’m debating something I know little about on a football message board so…

          • Jed says:

Not subpar, but mediocre. We get health results that are at best on par with what are achieved in other developed nations…at a minimum of twice the price.
If I am having a ‘routine’ procedure, I will definitely approach my insurance about having it done in Singapore, for example. UCLA trained docs, Philippina nurses, same like here…at around 25% what it costs here.

Competition? How would anyone know? Ask for a price. You’ll never get an answer. Personally, I like FDA checked out meds and licensed doctors…but when you do that, you make a cartel. You get exactly what we see today: out of control price increases.

Glad to see UFC lift its ban on helwani. The other reporters might have boycotted 200, and that would have been REALLY bad for them. This is already a pretty bad look for them as it is.

Lets go tonight ladies! FINISH IT!

  • Bob Edwards says:

OK, we are discussing UCF and UFC in the same comment section. If UCF is coming their are going to have to change their name, because TFB has been discussing UFC for a long time and is not going to stop and having the two is just too confusing.

  • PLAW0720 says:

Have to miss the Lady Sooners tonight – major bummer, but I’m sure the TFB board can pull them through without me. Gasso’s Girls! Go Get ‘Em and end this thing tonight!

  • SamSooner says:

Good morning, TFB family. How goes it?

Quick question: how does a rapist at Baylor get 20 years in prison and a rapist at Stanford get 6 months? Folks, this is an outrage.

    • BleedCrimson says:

How is it possible for several coaches intentionally cover up said rapes, still have jobs?

      • SamSooner says:

Yes, sir. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. I can’t wait for the collapse of Baylor’s house of cards.

    • Dustin says:

It’s a good time to be white in America.

    • rainydaze114 says:

Well… the Stanford kid was a rich white boy. The other most likely was neither of those things.

      • SamSooner says:

RD, what’s up man? This is crazy.

        • rainydaze114 says:

Same old thing, man. I’m assuming you’re talking about Ukwuachu? I don’t think he got 20 years. Some jail time and 10 years felony probation if I remember right. My point remains the same though.

    • Lincoln Hawk says:

      $$$$$$$

    • MoJoOkie says:

Because in the Stanford case she said, “um grg risle” instead of “no”. Pretty simple really. That and economic status may have played a small part.

      Forgot: /s

      • SamSooner says:

        What’s up, MoJo?

Are you keeping Metz in line?

        • MoJoOkie says:

Been trying Sam, but I lack your finesse. Sorry again for your loss. Hope your ship is righting as well as can be expected.

          Fixed it for ya.

          • SamSooner says:

Yeah, that’s a better choice of words.

            How are you, Bob?

          • Bob Edwards says:

Doing pretty good given the circumstances. Trying to help my wife work through her new circumstances and the death of her brother. His mercies are new every morning.

          • SamSooner says:

I’m sorry to hear about that. I imagine it’s tough for you and it seems like it’s not going to end. I will pray for God’s grace.

          • Bob Edwards says:

We do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Cor 16-18

          • SamSooner says:

It’s all good, Bob. We got back home yesterday. I’m glad that’s over.

    • hOUligan says:

Hey, Sam!! Sorry to say it, but … same as it ever was … we have a long way to go, not just in this country but everywhere, w/ regard to how we treat people accused of criminal acts … regardless of race, ‘birth right’ or economic status.

      • SamSooner says:

        hOUligan, how are you sir?

I just hate to see this kind of disparity in punishment (regardless of race) happen when both circumstances happened in the same span of time.

        • cush creekmont says:

Sam, I think it’s like that stupid rich kid that got off after drunk drive killing those people and then ran off with mommy to Mexico.

I HATE to sound like the old fart, but we had to compete and knew when we did well and messed up. Now, take your “ribbon” and don’t worry about how well you do (in school as well as athletics).

Watch me, I’m too old to get on that soap box – I might slip.

          • SamSooner says:

I’ve got you, Cush. You’re right: we don’t have a system of earn what you get or a system of accountability.

  • soonermusic says:

Auburn is justifiably proud of having a great team and what they’ve accomplished and appears to be looking for all the little things, excuses, that they can to justify the loss and maintain the necessary confidence to play their best tonight. Obviously for every “if” they had, there was an equal “if” on OU’s side that would have made the game not even close.

I think they will discover that continuing to hit Paige is not so easy, and after the Sooners crush them tonight, they will be much more conciliatory and complimentary post game..

    • LottsSocks says:

Just watched the press conference, Auburn players and coach awfully defensive. Heard the game for them “was a warmup”, they are “guaranteed to win” 2 more games. And, they keep referring to the Arizona series as the template by which they beat OU. Uh, Arizona is no Oklahoma.

      • DrewChubbs says:

They’re only guaranteed the wins *if* they play “Auburn” ball. Seems to me they are leaving some wiggle room for themselves. If they don’t play “Auburn” ball and OU wins, then they have something to talk about during the off season.

    • soonerborn says:

What “if” those strikes were called instead of balls and Paige would not have walked the first batter in the 7th inning.

  • KJ1123 says:

    Happy for Ariel.

  • metzker says:

Ok guys let the OP fly, meeting will start 12:30 today. MEtz out for a while——

    • SamSooner says:

That’s the way to take one for the team. What’s been up?

You didn’t give me my assignment.

    • cush creekmont says:

Not working today, buddy. TFB is getting too clever for us. We might have to send you on a trip…no, not a “road trip.”

  • bommer85 says:

Any word on the Devin Duvernay situation? He could be the next Shepard type guy in our offense…or we just waiting till SS17 guys get in next year

  • Sooner Ray says:

And just like that, Alan Trimble unretires and will now remain coach of Jenks high school.

  • Bob Edwards says:

Anyone concerned Metz didn’t make it to his meeting? It’s been almost an hour and no OP.

  • Lane Gilstrap says:

Did anyone ever mention Devin Duvernay’s cousin was Kyler Murray?

  • Ed Cotter says:

So Devin Duvernay is going to choose between OU, Texas and TCU. Says he is going to apply to all three schools. Apparently OU was #2 choice behind Baylor and Kyler Murray has been in his ear lately. This is per an ESPN article on the Big 12 Blog.

  • KJ1123 says:

Just heard Samia weighed in at 300 yesterday. I think now only Alvarez is just a shade under 3….looking good so far.

  • metzker says:

Well there is a championship game post up!

  • T. Rob says:

    All I can say…….

  • T. Rob says:

Coach Gundy is hinting at another BOOM coming….who could this be?

    • Lincoln Hawk says:

      Duvernay?

      • T. Rob says:

I think that’s the first that comes to my mind.

        • Lincoln Hawk says:

And Gundy is a WR coach…

          • T. Rob says:

True, which makes that the best sense.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

But, he said it was SS17, isn’t Duvernay a 2016 guy?

          • T. Rob says:

Lol I just realized that too. I’m clueless now.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

I saw a couple Crystal Balls for Jeremiah Hall to OU yesterday. TE from NC. I think That would count as Gundy’s position.

          • T. Rob says:

There might only be 3 or 4 scollys left by the time NSD rolls around next year.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

The coaches keep telling them to grab their spot while they can.

          • T. Rob says:

And that’s no gimmick like a normal recruiting campaign. I can see Lamb not having a spot left by time he cuts his top 25 list down a couple of times.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

Lol, that’s hilarious. He has had every opportunity but other guys may want it more and snatch that spot. I assume just 1 spot left at WR right?

          • T. Rob says:

Yes he has. I don’t understand how you go from committed to a top 10. As if now 9 other schools have all of a sudden becoming equal to the school you decommited from. I can understand a top 3 or maybe 5. IMO it’s all a attention thing. Once you commit your not in the news as much as the other kids still looking. The kid has talent, but so does many other kids.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

I’m glad you said it. These kids work hard and deserve the attention but they just need to realize the more attention they seek they may lose opportunities at some of these better schools that have a chance with just about every player in the country at their position.

          • T. Rob says:

That’s exactly what I was thinking. It can back fire on you. At the same time you don’t want a kid holding a scolly that’s heart is not in it and isn’t pumping that true OUDNA blood through his body. Wish him nothing but the best, but I’m sure at this point he has to notice that the train is still rolling full steam ahead and still picking up more players. Damn Auburn just hit a homerun.

          • T. Rob says:

Wait. He said more great new coming for ss17. Duvernay is class of 16′.

          • Lincoln Hawk says:

Haha looks like we both caught that at the same time.

      • T. Rob says:

Jermiah Hall is my best guess.

      • Neworleanssooner says:

Duvernay would be 2016 class, but who knows.

  • T. Rob says:

SOONERSQUAD17 now has 8 commits heading to the opening finals. You already know they’re going be recruiting their butts off on top elite talent up there. Plus there the fact no other school will have half that amount of commits in attendance. Speaks volumes for the eye for talent these coaches have went out and rounded up.
