FOOTBALL (FREE)

To be fair, assuming OU can win on Saturday there really isn’t a “great” match up in terms of a Sugar Bowl opponent. So I suppose in that sense Auburn isn’t really any worse than the other possible options. But it’s hard for me to see OU fans giving a you know what about really getting excited about, letting alone showing up for (other than a convenient excuse to visit the Big Easy), that game.

And before anyone asks, the bowls select based on CFP rankings, not league standings. So that’s why it would likely be Auburn and not Florida, who is obviously playing Alabama in the SEC Championship game (hence why people see them as the “2nd place” team in the SEC and supposed slotting into that Sugar Bowl spot).
