Monday’s Virtual Visitors | Foster & Crowdus
– Charlie S

The Sooners are resuming with their virtual visits for their targets this week. Oklahoma was scheduled to host a pair on Monday.

*** 2021 offensive lineman Bryce Foster will be getting the tour from the Oklahoma staff today.

Foster took his last physical visit prior to the shutdown to Norman for the Sooners lone spring practice.

OU came out of that visit in very good shape and they look to maintain their position with the highly coveted lineman.

*** 2021 wide receiver Dekel Crowdus (5’10.5″ 165) out of Lexington, KY will also be taking a virtual tour today.

Crowdus was offered by the Sooners back in February and the Sooners are inserting themselves into the race for his signature.

Crowdus brings the speed that OU covets to the game as he ran a verified 40 time of 4.4 seconds.

He recently committed to Kentucky, so we will check in later in the week to see if his virtual visit actually took place.

Talking Point | Vegas Odds to Win Big12 Released
– CJ Vogel

The Las Vegas SuperBook has released its odds for the 2020 Big 12 Conference Winner.

  • Oklahoma +120
  • Texas +150
  • Oklahoma State +700
  • Iowa State +1400
  • Baylor, TCU +2500
  • Kansas State, Texas Tech, WVU +8000
  • Kansas +50000

Clearly, oddsmakers are giving the Longhorns some heavy credit this season. The stars are aligning for a run at the conference championship game with Sam Ehlinger entering his senior year, a defense returning a great percentage of its production and the biggest threat in the conference starting a quarterback who has yet to start a game.

However, that doesn’t stop the Sooners from being touted as the favorite. Spencer Rattler is slated to start for the Sooners and the magical Lincoln Riley offense. It will also be year number two for the ‘Speed D’ that new defensive coordinator Alex Grinch unveiled last season which should be of benefit to Oklahoma.

Chuba Hubbard and Tylan Wallace returning to Stillwater only nets the Cowboys a 7-t0-1 edge on the books.

It should be a fun season (if it is played out) and one that very well could see the Sooners and Longhorns match up in the Big 12 Championship game according to Vegas.

4-Star LB Clayton Smith | Trending
– Super K

As you may know by now, 2021 4-star LB, Clayton Smith (Texas High) released his top six, this past weekend…

It included LSU, OU, Kentucky, Florida State, Oregon, and Texas.

I spoke with a source regarding this recruitment and was told to expect Clayton to likely narrow things down to three which would most likely include LSU, OU, and Texas.

While I know most people have Clayton trending towards Texas, our source seems to believe this one has actually shifted in OU’s favor.

I haven’t spoken to Clayton over the phone in a bit so I can really give you my personal read but we have at least one source who believes the Sooners have taken the lead, currently.
