Here comes week 6!
OU plays at 11:00 on Saturday, but there’s plenty more football to watch. This thread will highlight a few games to watch and give TFB readers a place to hang out while catching this weekend’s football.
Big 12 Games
Week 5 had 8 Big 12 teams playing in the first week of all conference match-ups.
Results
The Good: OU beat down Texas Tech. Oklahoma State overcame a weather delay to beat a ranked KSU squad. TCU destroyed Kansas. Baylor caught the eye of everyone by beating Iowa State to advance to 4-0.
The Bad: Kansas State was just entering into the top 25 before losing to a good oSu team.
The Ugly: Texas Tech looked completely lost against OU. Kansas didn’t put up any fight against TCU. Iowa State, a preseason Big 12 contender for many (including me), didn’t manage a point against Baylor until the fourth quarter.
Week 6 is the first week with all 10 Big 12 teams playing conference games.
