Here comes week 4!
OU has a bye week, but there’s plenty more football to watch. This thread will highlight a few games to watch and give TFB readers a place to hang out while catching this weekend’s football.
Big 12 Games
Week 3 had 9 Big 12 teams playing a non-conference opponent. Overall, they went 5-2 against Power 5 squads, a good showing.
Results
The Good: Oklahoma beat UCLA in a straightforward win. Kansas surprised everyone by stomping on Boston College. Kansas State impressed by beating Mississippi State. West Virginia seemingly revived their season by throttling NC State. TCU had a nice win against Purdue. Several other Big 12 teams handled business against lesser squads: Texas beat up Rice and Oklahoma State handled Tulsa.
The Bad / Ugly: These next two teams lost to fine teams, but sure looked bad doing it. Iowa State had a horribly painful end to their loss to Iowa. Texas Tech looked thoroughly unimpressive losing to Arizona.
Week 4 has 7 Big 12 teams playing: 3 non-conference games and 2 conference matches.
