CFB Open Thread | 2018 Week 4

All times listed in CDT

The Sooners play at 6:00 on Saturday. There are several games before, during, and after that are worth the watch.

Big 12 Games

Last week, the Big 12 looked pretty good overall, with some non-conference highlights and very close to one more.

The Good: Oklahoma won a tough game against a solid Iowa State squad. Two big non-conference wins were the highlights; Texas stomped on USC and Oklahoma State beat down Boise State. Kansas got their second win in a row with a lot of points over Rutgers. Kansas State bounced back with a win over UTSA. Texas Tech beat Houston in a shootout (almost in the bad category because of the defense)

The Bad: TCU losing to Ohio State is one of those rare times when this is almost in the good category. They lost, so it can’t fit there, but they certainly looked competitive and like they’ll be a tough out this year. Iowa State also fits under the “lost, but looked tough doing it” category.

The Ugly: Baylor lost a winable game against Duke.

West Virginia had their game cancelled.
