Unfortunately though, softball lost Kady Self to a torn ACL. (Twitter)

Anybody else fired up to see Blake griffin and the thunder face off? I’m a huge fan of the thunder but I’m a big fan of Blake as well

Is the baseball team just void of talent this year, or what’s the deal? The new coach not getting things done?

    • Jordan Esco says:

They have talent, IMO. Really struggled on the mound and w/ the simple fundamentals of fielding the ball.

Kinda expected OU to go for a bigger name coach. I know, Stoops wasn’t, but why go for an East Coast guy? You’d think that they’d want someone who knew the TX and OK recruiting grounds.

I came across an interesting quote from Wariboko from the Texas Rivals site. I was under the impression that one of the reasons he de-committed was his brother hadn’t received an OU offer. Seems to not be as important now?

Wariboko’s brother, Max Wariboko, is a talented cornerback in the 2016 recruiting class who has already picked up offers from Louisville and Tulsa. The brothers would like to play together in college, but Josh said it’s not set in stone that they’ll go to the same school.

“Our goal is to play together in college. But it’s not a deal breaker,” Wariboko said. “We’re two different people and it will be two different recruitments. I’m my own person and he’s his own person. But if we could find a fit at a university together, that would be good.”
