The Path to Norman

Hishaw took a long path to walking on at OU. After attending Douglass High School (OK), he went through both NEO and Oklahoma State. He participated in NEO’s summer football, but failed to make the cut at Oklahoma State. In the fall of 2016, Hishaw arrived in Norman. He didn’t immediately try out; instead, he started out his career with OU football in the parking lot directing traffic at one of Roy Williams’ lots. After connecting with Williams, Superman himself put him in contact with the staff. The Oklahoma product walked onto the team in January of 2017. 2018 Season

Walk-on receivers tend to have success. Hopefully Hishaw can compete in a very deep receiver group and earn playing time in 2018.
