The Path to Norman
Josiah Markum played high school ball less than an hour from Norman. He attended Oklahoma Christian Academy in Edmond, Oklahoma, playing a variety of positions. Shortly before signing day 2019, Markum decided to play for OU.

2020 Season
With a lot of positions played in high school, Markum has options all over the field. He is currently grouped with the H-backs, an ultra versatile position currently led by Jeremiah Hall and Brayden Willis. Markum will continue to provide depth at the spot in his second year on campus.
