100 Days to Football Time in Oklahoma: #70 Brey Walker

The Path to Norman

Brey Walker committed to the Sooners way, way back in November, 2015. Despite being a five star lineman, he only had nine offers by the time he signed with Oklahoma two years later due to his strong show of OU support. A U.S. Army All-American, Walker signed with OU in the early signing period and enrolled early.

Highlights

2019 Season

Walker is a mountain of a man and TFB has heard repeatedly how hard of a worker he is. This spring, Walker has moved from tackle to guard. According to James Hale, OU ended the spring with sophomores Creed Humphrey at center, Marquise Hayes and Tyrese Robinson at guard, and junior Erik Swenson and sophomore Adrian Ealy at tackle. Walker and Darrell Simpson seem slotted at the backup guard spots. With Walker’s size and strength, however, Sooner fans will certainly see him on the field more than last season. After years of being OU bound, that will be a welcome sight.
