100 Days to Football Time in Oklahoma: #51 Kasey Kelleher

The Path to Norman

Kelleher went to long-snapping camps across the United States; the Ohio native spent time training all over. Although he committed to Toledo for a short period of time, he couldn’t turn down the opportunity for a preferred walk-on spot. Career so Far

Kasey took a redshirt season in 2017. 2018 saw Kelleher take over the starting long snapper spot after the departure of Wesley Horky, playing in all 14 games. Earlier this spring, Kasey was put on scholarship for OU.

Current Profile

Position: Long Snapper

Height: 5’10”

Weight: 226

Year: Redshirt Sophomore

2019 Season

Kelleher will look to be a constant on special teams after the departure of Austin Seibert. TFB reported this spring that redshirt freshman Gabe Bkic is expected to take over kicking (field goals, extra points, and kickoffs), while sophomore Reeves Mundschau is looking to start at punter. The long snapper earned himself the job last year; don’t look for him to let up now that he’s on scholarship.
