Impressive.

Looks promising.

A Christopher Nolan movie means I’m pretty much in no questions asked.

Hell, looking at the atm facilities explains how they are getting so many commitments. We better get busy on ours.

    • SoonerfanTU says:

Agreed. Kids love that stuff. And while I don’t think OU needs to go “that” over the top, it’d benefit them to incorporate some of that stuff.

    • OUWade says:

“The adidas uniform display transforms from a solid wall to a full view of the latest in uniform technology. The window wall features a touch-screen video interface that includes equipment specs and uniform highlights.”

Not a lot of reason for this, as I don’t see players messing with it ever, but I bet recruits think it’s awesome when they are shown. Those facilities are pretty legit.

      • Super K says:

        yep

      • blaster1371 says:

I thought the tv on every wall was overkill. Then again I get tired of constant media bombardment. No wonder teaching is getting more difficult ( yes, I’m a HS teacher).

        • Eric Hoffpauir says:

Yeah, I though the TV embedded in the mirror of each bathroom sink was a bit much.

    • Super K says:

They set a new standard for “keeping up” in this part of the country. So while I’m not a “need better facilities now!” kind of guy…I definitely think you have to be competitive and the standard has been raised. So OU’s new project announcement earlier this summer was important.

    • J J says:

The thing is their facilities were terrible. I mean like still in the 80s. They needed upgraded the last time I was in them in 04

  • blaster1371 says:

The Aggie facilities look really nice. Other than the OU weight room I don’t see them as better than OU’s. I was watching the day zero clip at Soonersports and thought the OU locker room was dang impressive after it’s renovation a few years back.

  • Super K says:

If only money could buy championships…scratch that. They couldn’t even win one when they were cheating.

  • JJsooner1 says:

Broke out the DVD’s last night due to withdrawals……..OU beat Bama again and we still shocked the Pokes in their crib. Loved beating them in Stilwater. My ex is a poke. Sent her a copy of the game:-) I know….mean right? Still……….couldn’t resist.

    • blaster1371 says:

I know what you mean by the re-watches….. My last count was OU beating the cowgirls and Bama something like 30 times in a row!

    • Shelby is a Patriot says:

Great way to pass time, I think I know what’ll happen on every single play in the Sugar Bowl now.

  • blaster1371 says:

Article on Knight was well done. Reporter did a good job of catching what many of us like about knight as well as the question we all have about 2014.

  • OklaSooner says:

I didn’t see the trophy cases?

    • EasTex says:

It is still in the planning stages of the mind of a student that doesn’t know yet they will be an architect.

  • Chase Korenek says:

The A&M upgrades really are impressive, but we’ll see how much they help after this year without their savior at QB and a defense that most Texas high schools could score on. Texas A&M…”a storied football program since 2012.”

  • Krys Allen says:

My stomach dropped wathing that jump from firts person POV… insane!

  • J J says:

The A&M facility upgrade was overdue 10 yrs ago. For an athletics dept who was operating in the red for YEARS they set the standard for no one. No one. Unless you aspire to be cheating underachievers.

  • Dan says:

Wow, so the great writer here that (because purely based on the number of Twitter followers, sorry I have a life) criticized me for writing for Bleacher Report… has a piece that includes nothing that requires skill/talent/knowledge… just makes a piece with links and videos. Yea pretty sure that’s what Google does. Whatever it takes to feel good 🙂

    • kt-raida says:

      Feel better Dan?

      • Sooner Ray says:

I thought Bleachers were for asses, who knew they could read.

        • Dan says:

Easily the worst attempt at trying to be snide and clever that I’ve seen in some time.

          • Sooner Ray says:

Yet just clever enough to provide an internet troll enough nutrition to survive long enough to reply. You at least chuckled, it’s not shameful to admit that.

          • ToatsMcGoats says:

Please refer to your first comment, Dan.

      • Dan says:

To know that the guy trying to dog me because I said something bad about OU has no talent? Yes. I feel a lot better. 🙂

        • ToatsMcGoats says:

Using such a small sample size to make your decision shows me all that I need to know about your decision making process.

      • EasTex says:

His last sentence tells us that was his intent.
I doubt that is the first time(or the last) that he mumbles it.

    • Eric Hoffpauir says:

I guess upvoting your own comment makes you feel good, too.

If you look around the site, daily link roundups are not the only items on offer.

I know this is off discussion but didn’t know where else to go and looking for 3-4 tickets with Santee Lounge access for LaTech game. Wife is an alumni of LaTech and like to bring daughter to first OU game. Cannot be in heat for long periods. Need option of inside a/c access. Thought about buying on ticketmaster for sect. 5 or 6 but expensive and unsure if these tickets have Santee Lounge access if I bought them. Anyone know details for Santee Lounge and accessability? Thanks in advance!
