While it would be fun, I wouldn’t expect much to come from this Texas/agent deal. I mean, other than the agent being ridiculed for the complete moron he appears to be. (AAS)

Does anything go right for West Virginia these days?

Wasn’t a witness to either incident but imho there is a huge difference between a shove, which sends a girl off-balance and she falls down and knowingly retaliating by throwing a punch powerful enough to result in an injury that would draw a felony charge. Generally, the felony category is reserved for gross injury (broken jaw, orbital) or loss of consciousness by the victim. The similarity is that in both cases the victim is not cooperating. And were either or both ‘partner-family assaults’, the prosecution would proceed, regardless of level of cooperation on the part of the victim, based upon other witnesses and injuries sustained. Long and short, you don’t hit women, even if they hit you. Block further attacks and get away.

And that my friend is sexist. They should be under the exact same restraints to physical violence that men are.

Sorry but I have to disagree. If women want to consider it “sexist”, that’s fine with me. I’d rather be known as a “sexist” than someone who puts their hands on a woman under any circumstance. The only exception I could think of would be Rhonda Rousey, and I’d probably just run from her.

    “Stevebigmoney33?”
That must be his desire, as he performs more like stevecupcake33.

So the Texas thing may become a big deal:
@ChuckCarltonDMN: RT @BDavisAAS: Sports agent boasts about having dinner with four #Texas players on Twitter in March. @statesman

Justin Bingman, who represents former Texas lineman Mason Walters, tweeted on four occasions that he had dinners with defensive end Cedric Reed (March 22), defensive tackle Desmond Jackson (March 23), linebackers Steve Edmond and Jordan Hicks (March 24).

The site Orangebloods.com found the tweets late Tuesday. The American-Statesman attempted to contact Bingman after 10 p.m. All the tweets involving Texas football players — including those four — appear to have been deleted sometime after 11 p.m.

    • SoonerPhins says:

All those dinners and not one player drafted…

    • Gary Robbins says:

This agent has to be dumber than a box of rocks. Didn’t Okie State have a wide receiver who had lunch with somebody and stirred up a hornet’s nest. Was it Dez Bryant or Justin Blackmon? But to have lunch with 4 different players on different occasions, borders on stupid. Guess he wanted to make sure Texas gets somebody drafted this year.

We are beginning to look like the saints in the conference again.

  • Jordan Esco says:

I can’t recall seeing many, if any, comments about our lack of coverage re: SEC media days, so I assume you all are protesting in your silence.

But just say the word and we can ramp things up 🙂

  • blaster1371 says:

Funny how the SEC cult hasn’t said much about their two best teams going 0-2 in the last BCS games. The only part of the SEC media days that has any of my interest is any smack talk from Spurrier.

  • I like Boomer Sooner says:

Charges dropped against Bethel? I’m sure people will treat him the same way they did DGB. /s

Well anyway, maybe the incident he was involved in was actually blown out of proportion. If so, good for him for getting his name clear and getting his path back to CFB ready.

  • EasTex says:

Insert every positive adjective and it still won’t describe this 5 foot 100 pound woman’s athleticism.

  • FeedtheMonster says:

espin’s Max Olson just predicted TCU 34 OU 20. It just keeps getting harder to take espin seriously.
