Monster game for Tress Way this past Thursday night. And the Patriots picked up Casey Walker off the Panthers practice squad this week, so that’s another Sooner on an NFL roster.
Redskins' punter Tress Way was the 11th punter ever to average at least 58.25 yards on 4+ punts #PuntersArePeopleToo

pretty good weekend for our pro Sooners.
My favorite moment of the weekend came during the Cowboy game last night. There was a run around the left side where Hanna blocked Lofton for Murrary who then stiff-armed Vaccaro. I said to my wife, “Hey look. A Sooner blocking another Sooner so another Sooner could run. And then that Sooner stiff-armed a Longwhorn.”
Hanna also made a great block on the edge, along with Whitten’s seal block, to spring Murray for a TD.
A lot of good play by Sooners who were active yesterday.
Wonder if Saunders is hurt or the coach is sending a message over his fumble last week.
If anyone can figure out why the Jets coach does anything needs to pick my lottery numbers.
My guess is the latter. Hasn’t been great on punt returns and really hasn’t seen much action at WR either I believe.
Jets cut Saunders….there’s your answer.
So is Murray the MVP leader right now? I’m not sure which players are having ridiculous seasons none really come to mind. But I hope he keeps up his pace.
He is on pace for over 2000. If he goes over 2000 he will have the MVP wrapped up.
To this day….I still can’t believe the Falcons, traded away Curtis Lofton. Our defense had paid for it ever since.
What happened to Garrett Hartley? I thought he did good enough, when healthy, to hold down an NFL job. No?
He got cut by the Saints and had multiple workouts for other teams this season, but just hasn’t been able to catch on somewhere else yet.
Well, we’ll always remember who really won the Super Bowl for the Saints that year. Dude deserves another chance elsewhere.
speaking of kickers, I was astonished that the guy from Fla. St. didn’t make a splash in the NFL–what was his name, Harper,or something like that? Seemed like 50 yards was a chip shot for that guy.
Gerald McCoy is a monster. Murray is on pace to break more records.
The one for 77 yards from Tress was from the back of the other end zone. Completely changed the field. Granted it was probably kicked like 58-60yards then bounced/rolled about 17. Still though, he’s a weapon for the skins.
And he was a monster for us until we started making him do kickoffs (which he got injured doing and hampered his punts from then on)
Murray looking like an MVP candidate.
